Sunday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jayson Tatum Under 25.5 Points (-110)
This is the matchup to keep an eye on, as it could be a potential NBA Finals preview. The Celtics are the defending champions and look good to get back there, as they currently hold the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Going to Oklahoma City will be their biggest test this season, as the Thunder are 16-2 at the Paycom Center. They are also the hottest team in the league with a franchise record of 14 straight wins. They are doing it with the best defense, which is why we could see Bostonâs potential struggle. Jayson Tatum has gone under his scoring prop in four of his last five games, and the Thunder have forced forwards to go under their set point total in four of the previous five.
Donovan Mitchell 4+ Three-Pointers Made (-125)
The turnaround of the Cavaliers has been remarkable to watch. Last year, they finished as the No. 4 seed and made it to the Eastern Conference semi-finals before being bounced by the Celtics. This season, they are better than the Celtics. They are better than every team actually, as the first team to reach 30 wins.
They are doing it with one of the best offenses in the league, ranking second in points scored. Donovan Mitchell is leading the team with 23.4 points per game. He looks good to enhance those numbers tonight.
Cleveland faces one of the worst teams in the Hornets, who have lost a league-high nine straight. Charlotte has been getting burned by the three, allowing 13.7 per game (20th). Mitchell has gone over his three-point prop line in three of his last four. The Hornets have allowed shooting guards to go over their prop number in nine of their last 10.
