NBA Player Prop Bets, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (2/13)
Welcome to another day of basketball as we are deep into the NBA season with the All-Star break right around the corner. If you're joining us for the first time, welcome, it's been a great year, and I hope we continue that trend as we get closer and closer to nicer weather.
We have a five-game slate tonight, meaning we will pick and choose our props here. As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is by staying on top of the news. The second-best way is to shop around at different sportsbooks. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so ensure you get the best value. Let's get to it.

Thursday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets
Last Time: 1-4 | Season: 97-77
Isaiah Hartenstein Under 12.5 Points + Assists (-110 at ESPN Bet)
With Chet Holmgren back in the lineup, it's hard to go to Isaiah Hartenstein's overs with a minutes and usage dip. He's scoring under double-digits a night and faces a tough matchup down low tonight. Minnesota has limited opposing centers to the fewest points scored in the last 15 games and I don't imagine Hartenstein will be able to overcome that.
Even if all the attention is on Holmgren it's because he is the one scoring. Playing on the road doesn't help and the total is 222 because of how much the Timberwolves pace down the Thunder and rank as a top-five defense across the season. It's a low number, which makes me a bit nervous, but it is the right play.
Domantas Sabonis Over 23.5 Points + Assists (-120 at ESPN Bet)
Stop me if you've seen this one before, but we are going back to the barrel with another over for Domantas Sabonis. The scoring was there last night but the assists were what stopped him from easily clearing the over. Tonight after back-to-backs, I still expect it to be tough for the Pelicans to stop the Kings' big man down low.
The Pelicans have allowed the fifth-most points to opposing centers and that number jumps to the second-most over the last 15 games. The total is set around 236 tonight because of the Pelicans ranking as one of the fastest-paced teams in recent play while still owning the third-worst defense. It shouldn't take a lot for Sabonis to go over his combo total. While he can get there with scoring alone, I do expect the assists to face positive regression here, too.
Alperen Sengun to Record a Double-Double (-105 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
As the best rebounding team in the league, I'm surprised this number is so close to even odds. The Rockets big man has averaged 19 points and 10 boards a night across the season and is coming off a strong 17-13 performance. He's recorded a double-double in four out of his last five full games, so the consistency is there.
Golden State down low isn't exactly the most terrifying matchup coming off a back-to-back. Quinten Post is a tall frame down low but it's not like he's rebounding the lights out and won't play many minutes despite starting. Otherwise, I don't expect the Warriors to limit Alperen Sengun from getting his on the boards much as they have to travel overnight to take on the Rockets.
