NBA Player Props Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (11/8)

We've got a lot of data to sift through from the first couple weeks of the NBA season. It may still be early, but it's still valuable to learn where teams are at, and where they can go.

Remember, it's a long NBA season. Don't go betting your entire bankroll on any single prop, even if it's incredible value. With the season just getting underway, there will be a lot of learning about each team and player usage, but that's all part of the fun.

Also, remember to monitor injury news, as being on top of players playing or not is a sharp way to make some money before lines adjust.

Here are my best NBA player prop bets for tonight's action:

Wednesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

All bets are one unit unless specified otherwise | Last Time: 4-2 & Season: 17-9

LeBron James Over 31.5 Pts + Ast (-123 via Caesars Sportsbook)

It is truly insane the level of basketball that LeBron James continues to play at.

James has scored 30-plus points in two of his last three games with a pair of 24-plus outings on the road. Now, coming home against the Rockets is a perfect spot for him to continue his dominance, especially after some rest.

A valuable tool I would recommend using is the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet. It is the perfect source for NBA prop betting and a big reason why I am a +EV better. The cheat sheet projects James to reach this combo prop with ease, and I trust it.

It simply doesn't make sense how this prop sits so low, especially after James has been averaging over 35 minutes per game. When he is on the court, his usage is high and he should easily reach 32 points and assists.

Jalen Brunson Over 32.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-120 via PointsBet)

Betting on Knicks player props has never been fun, but New York should match up well tonight, playing the Spurs. The Knicks are the best rebounding team in the league so far this season, while the Spurs are 27th.

The Knicks’ offense is inefficient. However, it gets a boost from playing at home and going against the Spurs, a team that can forget to play defense sometimes, ranking 29th in the NBA at defensive efficiency.

You can pick most Knicks to go over their rebound and/or point props, but I see Jalen Brunson as the best option who can maybe avoid the Victor Wembanyama-sized building around the hoop. He has plenty of different ways to reach this combo prop and in a big pace-up spot for New York, I expect him too.

LaMelo Ball Over 25.5 Points (+100 via DraftKings Sportsbook)

If we're talking about no defense, Washington is the team to talk about. Ranking dead last in efficiency, the Wizards sit at 1-5 after being blown out three times, allowing 146 points to the 76ers on Monday.

LaMelo Ball is coming off a 30-point outing, and while he may not reach that again, I have to imagine there will be momentum building on his previous outing. The Wizards are the perfect team to throw any dart at a Hornets player prop over.

Not only is Washington the worst defense, but they are also the fastest-paced team. This will be a possession extravaganza, considering Charlotte is in the top five, as well. If Ball will get anything, it's opportunities. With that many shots taken, I feel comfortable taking a higher points total.
