NBA Player Props Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (12/27)

I hope everyone who celebrated had a wonderful Christmas and a happy early New Year to you all! After some busy days of basketball, we have a relatively chill six-game slate tonight, which is just how I like it.

As always, be sure to shop around for the best odds and stay aware of injury news. There is a fair share of questionable tags tonight, meaning plenty of last-second values to grab when injury news drops.

It’s been a remarkably successful season, and I am thankful for all who have tailed, so let’s keep it going.

Wednesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | Last Time: 2-1 & Season: 61-32

OG Anunoby Over 21.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-106)

Last week, I handed out this exact same prop when OG Anunoby was playing in Philadelphia. He proceeded to cover two straight games of this number, going over 22 points, assists and rebounds in consecutive games against the 76ers and the Jazz.

Now, against Washington, this is another easy smash play. The Washington Wizards have struggled this year. Ranking dead last in defensive efficiency and first in pace of play, throwing a dart at opposing prop player overs is a lucrative strategy when dealing with the Wizards, and that’s what I’m doing here. I don’t feel I need to spend much time on this one. Anunoby is hot, and I will continue riding the wave with a two-unit bet in what is quite possibly the best matchup out there.

Tobias Harris Under 20.5 Points (-104)

After scoring 33 points and 27 points in his last two respective games, Tobias Harris’s point total has inflated like a well-oiled balloon. Bad analogy aside, Harris has still only averaged 17 points per game on the season, with that number sitting under 15 last year. He is due for some major regression.

Orlando has flown under the radar as the fourth-most efficient defense in the league this year. They are a slight pace-down spot for Philadelphia, and Orlando has done a solid job defending opposing forwards. This is a bit scary, considering Harris’ last couple of games. Still, in the four games before that, he did not cover this number, with two of those matchups failing to reach double-digit scoring. Don’t let recency bias cloud your judgment. This is a clear under play in my books.

Luka Doncic Under 10.5 Assists (-104)

Of course, this play is only viable if Luka Doncic plays, and he is currently questionable with left quad soreness. Assuming he does play, this is an absolute smash spot with the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet projecting Doncic to come in around eight assists, giving this prop an 80% chance of hitting.

I agree with the Sheet. Cleveland comes in with a top-10 defense in the league and a bottom-10 pace of play, which will vastly slow down Dallas. Already averaging 9.4 assists a game, I’m surprised this prop sits where it is, considering Doncic hasn’t covered 10.5 dishes in four of his last five matchups. If he is hampered at all by the quad, I only love this prop more.

In case he misses the game, or you’re just looking for another prop to bet on, I recommend Isaiah Hartenstein Under 10.5 Pts + Ast.
