NBA Player Props Bet Picks & Predictions: Thursday (12/5)
Welcome to an eight-game NBA slate as we find more prop bets for your liking. Weâve come back down to earth of late but we are still soring on the season with money made. As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is by staying on top of the news. The second best way is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms so make sure you're getting the best value. Let's get to it.

Thursday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets
Last Time: 1-2 | Season: 51-33
Josh Green Under 10.5 Points (-115 on FanDuel)
With LaMelo Ball out, the usage of the Hornets has been shaken up over the last few games. In two previous games, Green tallied 15 and 17 points before putting up a goose egg despite seeing the court for 36 minutes against Philly on Tuesday. Tonight, the Hornets take on one of the slowest-paced teams in the league and Green only took three shot attempts last time out. Given a lower possession rate and lower attempts, I'm not expecting the Charlotte guard to be capable of reaching double-digits tonight.
RJ Barrett Under 28.5 Points + Assists (-115 on DraftKings)
After averaging 30 points in the last three games, Barrett's props are vastly inflated and now is the time to sell high. Oklahoma City is the single-best defense in the Association, so the scoring will be down for the Toronto forward and for the Raptors in general with a bottom-half-ranked offense. Barrett is projected at 24 on this combo prop from the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet and I follow that like a holy grail. The Sheet is a big reason I've had such a successful season so far and I highly recommend it for your NBA and all other betting needs you may have.
DeMar DeRozan Over 24.5 Points + Assists (-120 on ESPN Bet)
With a total of 243 as Sacramento takes on Memphis tonight, I feel required by the betting gods to find an ideal Over. DeMar DeRozan is my choice. The mid-range man has averaged over 22 points a game this year with four assists so I am a bit surprised by this line against a Grizzlies team that has allowed the fifth most points to opposing small forwards this year. It also helps that Memphis has the third-fastest pace of play in the league so even facing a better offense, there will be a higher number of opportunities for DeRozan and Co. to score tonight. This is a bit of a juiced line but still is fantastic value.
