Welcome to a five-game Thursday slate! Playoff races are en fuego and we’re due for some solid matchups. As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is by staying on top of the news. The second best way is to shop around at different books. Sunday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Last Time: 4-1 | Season: 120-93

Ayo Dosunmu Under 24.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-120 on DraftKings)

Considering he’s already questionable with a right quadricep injury, it’s interesting to me that his props are even listed. With the Bulls already clinching the Play-In spot, I can’t imagine they’d risk any further injury. Even so, he’s projected closer to 19 on the combo prop and has gone under in 10 of his last 15 games. I already don’t expect a lot of scoring in this game and his numbers are inflated due to recent play, but expected to regress. On the road, with less at stake, while risking further injury simply is a recipe for an Under here.

Jonas Valanciunas Over 10.5 Pts + Ast (-125 on DraftKings)

Now on the other side of throwaway games are games that actually matter, and that’s the New Orleans Pelicans against the Sacramento Kings. Both teams are trying to avoid the Play-In tournament with the Pels in the driver’s seat. We should see a fun game tonight with a near pick-em line. Valanciunas has averaged over 12 points and two assists on the season with both those numbers higher in recent play. The Kings’ defense has been solid but it’s still a pace-up spot and it doesn’t make sense to me why the number is so low. He’s projected closer to 14 here and I’m glad to take that value, even with a juiced line.

Jalen Green Under 30.5 Pts + Reb (-108 on FanDuel)

You may discover a trend where I am going to lean toward Unders in games that have lower stakes. With Houston eliminated, the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet projects the Rockets’ guard under 26 here. The Sheet has been truly the best betting tool I have used in all my years of gambling and that’s saying something. I know I promote it in every article but if you look at my season-long record, there’s a reason I do that. Houston finds themselves in a pace-down spot and while it is against a bad defense, with an expected increase in bench minutes I don’t see Green getting to the over here.
