NBA Player Props Bet Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (11/22)

It’s been an immaculately successful NBA player prop betting season so far, and I have been ridiculously hot of late, going 14-2 in my last 16 plays. I cannot expect this kind of success to continue, but I hope you have tailed so far.

This time of year, the books become sharper with more games being played, and it gets a bit more challenging to find value. But don’t worry, it’s still out there. I know Thanksgiving isn’t until tomorrow, but let us feast early with this 14-game slate, shall we?

Be sure to keep up with who is playing and who is not because there is bound to be some great value available right before tip-off.

Wednesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be a single unit | Last Time: 4-2 | Season: 35-13

Brook Lopez Over 15.5 Pts + Reb (-115 via DraftKings Sportsbook)

I made this point at the beginning of the season, and it still appears to be true today:  Sportsbooks have given too much attention to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard on the Bucks and are incorrectly pricing Brook Lopez props. No problem, let’s make some more money with his props.

So far this season, Lopez has averaged 10.6 points per game with nearly five rebounds to go with it – the exact line set by DraftKings Sportsbook. In the last week, however, those numbers jumped up to 13.3 points per game and 6.8 boards.

I will admit, the Celtics’ defense is scary, ranking second best in defensive rating. But this line is set too low with how Lopez has been playing of late, especially considering his minutes have seen an uptick recently, too. The opportunity will be there, and I trust the Bucks’ center game of late. I’ll happily take the over in this combo prop.

Fred VanVleet Over 17.5 Pts (+100 via DraftKings Sportsbook)

Houston has been a moderately surprising team this season, partly due to Fred VanVleet’s efforts. The Rockets’ guard has averaged nearly 17 points and more than 40 minutes a game in his last week of play.

VanVleet has only reached 18 points in one of his last three games, but he plays much better at home, scoring 20-plus points in each of his last two games in Houston. Going against Memphis with even odds is also beneficial, as the Grizzlies have allowed over 23 points per game to opposing point guards.

The Wichita State product may not be an elite guard, but the opportunity will be there with Memphis offering a pace-up spot for an already relatively fast Houston team. I expect VanVleet to reach 20 points tonight if you care to take an alternative line, but grabbing over 17.5 at even odds is my official play.

Jaylen Brown Over 21.5 points (-110 via BetMGM)

I didn’t want to feature two props from the same game, considering there are 14 games on the slate tonight. However, this Bucks-Celtics game should be excellent, and I think Brown going over his points total is genuinely one of the best values on the slate tonight.

Boston’s second-best offense in the league only appears to improve at home. Brown has scored 22-plus points in four of five home games this year and in three straight matchups.

The BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet projects his point total to be closer to 27 points, a clear value. The Sheet is a fantastic resource for all your betting needs and is a big reason I have done so well this season. This number has dropped a bit, given his last couple of games. Still, I am not too worried, considering it was a back-to-back, and the stars should shine in big games like tonight.
