NBA Player Props Bet Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (3/6)

Welcome to an eight-game Wednesday slate! I love this level of slate because it offers the perfect level of value without oversaturation. As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is to stay on top of the news.

The second best way is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so make sure you're getting the best value.

Anyway, let's get into our NBA player props for Wednesday, March 6th.

Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be a single unit.

Wednesday’s Best NBA Player Props

Last Time: 1-3 | Season: 110-82 | All wagers are for 1 unit

Collin Sexton Under 21.5 points (-115 on DraftKings)

After averaging 18 points a game in a big pace-down spot, I'm surprised at how high this line is. Coming off a 29-point effort, I get the inflated number, but that was at home against the Washington Wizards. It would almost be more concerning if he hadn't scored 20-plus points.

The Bulls are not the Wizards. They aren't exactly the greatest team in the NBA, but with a middle-of-the-pack defense and big pace-down spot, I'd project the Alabama product closer to 17 points. I know you're paying for the juice here, but there is still a lot of value in betting the under for this Utah guard.

Kevin Huerter Over 2.5 assists (+145 on DraftKings)

In terms of a value play, this is it. Sacramento is already a faster-than-average team, and the Lakers only bring that pace up more. There's a reason this total sits around 240, and I fully expect there to be plenty of scoring here.

The Lakers’ defense has struggled recently. In their last 10 games, they ranked 26th in defensive efficiency. The Kings, with their top-five-ranked offense, should slice and dice here. Heurter has consistently recorded two or more assists in seven straight games. I feel good about his chances of finding another one tonight.

Jonathan Kuminga Under 17.5 points (-115 on BetMGM)

Sometimes, you have to trust the projections, and that's exactly what we're doing here. According to the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet, this prop has a 76% chance of hitting, so I am quite comfortable with tailing.

Milwaukee has turned it around of late, with the top-ranked defensive in the league over the last 10 games. With Golden State's pace brought down in this game against Milwaukee, Kuminga's average of 15.6 points a game I don't expect to be eclipsed. Take the under here.
