NBA Player Props Bets Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (11/1)

I hope everyone had a great Halloween that was avoidant of any betting scares. I’ll get right to it. Here are my three favorite player props for Tuesday, November 1st.

Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook

Andrew Wiggins OVER 15.5 points (-140)

In the first two weeks of the NBA season, teams have been scoring at a historic rate. Generally, I will continue taking the over-point totals across the board, but I especially love targeting Wiggins here.

On paper, this prop doesn’t exactly pop out. The Warriors’ offense ranks 19th and both teams have a middling pace of play, so the number of expected possessions shouldn’t change all too much.

But as I said before, scoring is up this year. Most betters will flock towards the higher profile names like Steph Curry or Jimmy Butler, which gives value to Wiggins over point total, even at -140. This game should come down to the wire, meaning the former Jayhawk should have an increase in minutes and usage tonight.

Devin Booker OVER 4.5 rebounds (+100)

When first looking at this game, you would expect the Timberwolves to be an elite rebounding team with their one-two punch of Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns. However, they rank 12th in rebounding rate in the NBA, right around the middle of the pack.

Booker has averaged 3.3 rebounds per game in this short season, but that number is due for positive regression and the value is too great to pass up. The BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet rates this as one of the best values on the slate with a +32% expected value, and I agree with the model.

Bam Adebayo OVER 18.5 points (+100)

I don’t want to exactly say “see Andrew Wiggins” but I am going to be making most of the same arguments here. The scoring is up and I am targeting players you wouldn’t usually target. So give me Bam over points.

The Warriors rank 20th in defense and Adebayo has had a career year with 17.4 points per game with 8.0 rebounds per game. Even if the Miami big man is struggling down lown, he can get some second-chance points easily.

I see the over-points total hitting in this game and like most of the overs for player props. For Wiggins and Adebayo, I see them as the best values compared to any of the other players in this game.
