Saturday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Jayson Tatum Over 27.5 Points (-125)

Although the Celtics have suffered some bad losses, they're still one of the leading candidates to win another championship. Their offense is one of the best in the league, as they are first in adjusted offensive rating and second in points per game.

Jayson Tatum leads the team in points. His 30.2 points per game is third in the league. He will face a bad Toronto team riding a six-game losing streak and a league worse 2-11 record. Tatum should have a stellar performance against a Raptors team that allows the fourth-most points to small forwards.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 48.5 Points + Rebounds (-110)

The Bucks have back-to-back wins for the first time this season, but they were against Toronto and Detroit. Defensively, they're average, as they're 17th in defensive efficiency and 20th in offensive efficiency, and with the talent they have, they are underperforming.

We are saying that as a team because Giannis Antetokounmpo is putting up MVP numbers with a league-leading 33.3 points points per game and the fifth-most rebounds per game (12.1).

This year, the Hornets have been great against the power forward position, allowing the second-fewest rebounds (8.0) and third-fewest points (18.2). However, they haven't faced a notable power forward, which is why this will come as a shock from a guy who's taking over games for a struggling team.

Victor Wembanyama Over 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)

The Spurs are looking much better than expected. At 6-7, they have won three of their last five games. That puts them just outside the 10th spot. We could see this team compete all season.

We would love to see Victor Wembanyama in the playoffs, coming off his Rookie of the Year campaign. He's averaging a double-double of 22.3 points and 10.2 rebounds. His 3.8 blocks per game lead the league.

The Spurs head to Dallas to face the Mavericks, who are on a four-game slide. Wembanyam had a decent 17 points and nine rebounds against Dallas in the first game of the year. The Mavs allow the most rebounds and points to centers. Daniel Gafford’s 111.8 defensive rating is below the league average (110.6).
