Saturday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Victor Wembanyama Under 34.5 Points + Rebounds (-125)

Victor Wembanyama is having another great season, coming off a Rookie of the Year campaign. He's averaging 18.2 points per game and 10.6 rebounds. Unfortunately, we might not see him in the playoffs for some time, as the team looks like it could finish at the bottom of the Western Conference standings.

He's facing the Timberwolves today, who went to the Western Conference Finals last year, but expectations are different after they traded Karl-Anthony Towns. Wembanyama will have a tough matchup tonight against four-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert. Wembanyama has struggled against him, scoring fewer than 20 points twice and under 10 rebounds once.

Ja Morant Over 23.5 Points (-120)

Memphis was a bad team last season because of injuries, specifically Ja Morant, who missed most of last season due to a suspension and injury. It's the same problem this year, with several starters out for this game.

Not Morant, though, who leads the team with 20.4 points per game. He's traveling to Philadelphia to face the 76ers, who are also dealing with injuries. It's just two players, but it's their two best and highest-paid players - Joel Embiid and Paul George.

The Sixers are bad right now with a 1-3 record, with the offense and defense performing below average. Memphis is the fifth-best scoring offense (118.2) and seventh-worse scoring defense (117.8). They will need to score a lot of points, led by Morant.

Tyus Jones Over 7.5 Assists (-130)

The Suns are looking great to start the season as they are 4-1 and have a three-game winning streak. The main three stars of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal all remain, but we were wondering how these new pieces around them would work out. So far they have.

One, in particular, is Tyus Jones. He has joined the starting lineup and brings the ball up, which frees up the previously three mentioned stars. He’s not a player who will drop 20, but he is going to dispense the ball to players who will. His 7.0 assists per game rank 10th. Portland is allowing the sixth-most assists per game (28.2).
