Saturdayâs Best NBA Player Prop Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jalen Brunson Over 7.5 Assists (-105)
The Knicksâ new lineup seems to be getting in sync, as they've now won four straight. In those wins, the offense has been flowing, averaging 127.5 points per game (PPG). Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns have led the way. They are the only two players who have led the team in points.
It has also been only two players who have led the team in assists - Brunson and Josh Hart. Brunson leads the team (7.3) and is going up against the Jazz, so he could bump his average up. Utah is allowing the third-most assists to point guards this season (9.9).
Steph Curry Over 4.5 Three-Pointers (+105)
The Warriors have been a below-average team in the last couple of seasons, barely making it into the playoffs. They made some big changes, including parting ways with Klay Thompson. It's working out well to start the season, as they are 12-3 and the top team in the Western Conference. Their great offense and defense helped them win the NBA Championship back in 2022; this year, they are sixth in offensive efficiency and fourth in defensive efficiency.
Steph Curry continues to build on his legacy as the greatest three-point shooter ever. He's having a phenomenal season, as his 49% shooting from the floor is better than his career average (47.3%), and the same goes for his 44.1% shooting from three (42.6%). He's been lights out the last two games, going 8-13. He now faces the Spurs, who allow the fifth-most threes per game to point guards.
Jalen Duren Under 9.5 Rebounds (-105)
The Pistonsâ 7-10 record is a vast improvement from their 2-15 record in their first 17 games last year, which led to an eventual 27-game losing streak. This improvement is mainly due to the team bringing in veterans like Malik Beasley, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Tobias Harris to lead the young talent.
One of those is Jalen Duren, who they are trying to establish as a top center. He's improved in field goal percentage, blocks and offensive rebounds, and has seen a decrease in turnovers. The season looks promising, but not tonight's matchup against the Magic. Orlando is third in defensive efficiency. Whether it's Goga Bitadze or Wendell Carter Jr., they are two spectacular defensive centers allowing the fewest rebounds to their opposition.
