NBA Player Props Bets, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (11/6)

We've hit the ground running as we are over two weeks into the NBA season and we're well on our way to a great season. As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is by staying on top of the news.

The second-best way is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so make sure you're getting the best value.  Let's get into this nine-game slate and find some more winners.

Wednesday’s NBA Player Prop Bets

Last Time: 5-1 | Season: 17-11

Norman Powell Under 23.5 Points + Rebounds (-104 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

Let's start with the last game of the night, fading Norman Powell in a game with a projected total of around 221. Powell has been surprisingly consistent this year, averaging 25 points per game, only dipping below 20 in one of his seven outings so far. He is playing 33-plus minutes per night and his usage is around 27%.

All these numbers are consistent but also massive upticks from last season. Philadelphia has limited opposing shooting guards to the third-fewest points against this year. Given these near-even odds, this is a great value. It's an inflated line and I imagine it will start coming down, starting tonight against Philly.

Russell Westbrook Under 20.5 Points + Rebounds (-115 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

After taking over starting duties for a hurt Jamal Murray, Russell Westbrook is projected to start again and should see the floor for over 30 minutes against Oklahoma City. In his first start against Utah, the Denver guard scored five points. On Monday, that number jumped to 21 with six rebounds. That's why this line sits where it is.

Going against the most efficient defense in the league so far is a perfect way for him to come back down to earth. Not only is it the best defense but the Thunder have held opposing point guards to the third-fewest opposing points and it's not exactly like his rebounds will explode to get him over this prop line, which should be comfortably under.

Karl-Anthony Towns Over 24.5 Points + Assists (-115 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Facing the third-fastest-paced team with the fourth-worst defense is a great matchup for Knicks props. While there is a lot of inflation due to that, Karl-Anthony Towns is my easy go-to tonight. Towns is projected closer to 28 points and assists on the BettingPros NBA prop bet cheat sheet. If you haven't done so, using the sheet is a clear edge on the betting market for all your NBA needs.

The sheet gives this prop a 64% chance of hitting and great value despite some juice. As mentioned, Atlanta offers one of the biggest pace-up chances a team can offer the Knicks. Clint Capela is a solid defender down low but playing 31+ minutes and being capable of five or so assists can get Towns over this prop.
