First baskets are always fun because it's a big payoff if you hit them. Let's see who is grabbing the first score on today's slate.

Sunday's Best NBA First Basket Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook

Bam Adebayo (+600)

We have the start of the second round between the Knicks and the Heat. The Heat was the unlikely team to be in this situation as the eighth seed beating the top team in the league, the Bucks. The Knicks played a defensive battle throughout their series against the Cavaliers and were also the lower seed

Neither team has gotten more than half of their potential first baskets, but the Heat were significantly worse, ranking 29th. Julius Randle grabbing the third-most first baskets this year would have been a great pick, but his status is questionable. Bam Adebayo has the next highest percentage of the first basket for his team, and Knicks are allowing the second-most first basket to centers this year.

Domantas Sabonis (+410)

With how exciting this series has been, you knew it had to come to a Game 7. The Kings went to the Oracle and embarrassed the defending champions to force a winner-take-all at home.

Golden State has the edge in regular season first basket percentage, but the Kings have an advantage in first baskets during this series. The Warriors have also struggled to gain points on their first possession.

Sabonis already has a first basket in this series, has the most Kings' first baskets, and the Warriors allow the most first baskets to power forwards.
