NBA Playoffs Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks: Monday (4/22)

There are three NBA playoff games tonight. How will Kelly Oubre do after a lackluster performance against the New York Knicks in Game 1? Will Donovan Mitchell make more three-pointers than he did during his 30-point Game 1 performance against the Orlando Magic? And will LeBron James have another solid night against the Denver Nuggets? Let’s find out.

Here are my three best NBA player props for Monday, April 22.

Monday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

This Season: 54-67 (-15.84 units)

Kelly Oubre Over 11.5 Points (-108)

In Saturday's Game 1, Kelly Oubre had his worst performance against the Knicks this season. He scored only 10 points, pulled down just three rebounds and dished out one measly assist. But he did play 39 minutes. As long as he sees similar minutes tonight, he should see an improvement across the board.

In four regular-season games against the Knicks, Oubre never scored fewer than 14 points. Interestingly enough, he played no more than 33 minutes in each game. With extended minutes, Oubre will get closer to his season average of 15.4 points against a team he generally performs well against.

Donovan Mitchell Over 3.5 Made Three-Pointers (+130)

Donovan Mitchell scored 30 points in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Game 1 victory over the Magic. In that 30-point performance, Mitchell was 3-of-8 from beyond the arc. The Magic rank 10th in the league in opponent three-point percentage, but if Mitchell continues to take over games, he's always going to be a threat to hit this over.

In the regular season, Mitchell averaged 3.3 made three-pointers per game. He ended the year making at least four in his last two games. If the Magic can keep this game closer than Game 1, Mitchell will see more playing time tonight. If he does, he'll attempt at least 10 threes. He's a 36.8% shooter on the year, so getting this at +130 is too good of value to pass up.

LeBron James Over 41.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-102)

In the Los Angeles Lakers’ Game 1 loss to the Nuggets, LeBron James combined for 41 points + rebounds + assists. While he scored more than his season average, he dished out fewer assists and pulled down fewer rebounds than his season average.

To get this over so close to +100 provides great value. James could end up scoring close to 30 again. He could also dish out more than 10 assists as he did in three of his final four regular-season games. Or he could pull down seven or more rebounds as he did in four of his final five regular-season games. But rather than attempt to figure out where James will excel tonight, it's simpler to take him to succeed across the board. With how he's been playing, there’s no reason to fade him.
