Sundayâs Best NBA Player Prop Bets
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Jayson Tatum Over 26.5 Points (-108)
The Celtics and Heat will have met in the playoffs four out of the last five years, and they've all been classics. This may not have the same spark. Boston was dominant throughout the year, finishing in the top three in offensive and defensive adjusted ratings, and grabbing the first seed was never doubtful. Theyâll be facing Miami, who will be without Jimmy Butler, who had a +5.0 net rating this year. Jayson Tatum has some fantastic and not-so-good moments throughout this rivalry, but without Butler, it could be tough to stop him.
Luka Doncic Over 9.5 Assists (-102)
The Clippers won this regular series 2-1, but this series could go long. The Mavericks will rely on the duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. If you've noticed a trend with the regular season series, Doncicâs total has gotten lower, but his assists have increased. Clippers will take the ball from his hand, and that assist number should be high for this game.
Damian Lillard Over 29.5 Points (-104)
The large question that looms over this series is the status of Giannis Antetokounmpo. He missed the final few games with a calf injury. It was believed he would be back for the playoffs that's now in doubt. The decision to pick up another huge offensive weapon in the offseason was big: Damian Lillard is someone who has shown the ability to take over a game and has had huge moments, especially in the playoffs. Lillard will carry this team against the Pacers, who don't like to play defense.
Chet Holmgren Over 8.5 Rebounds (-108)
Many had the Thunder as a dark horse competitor, but I'm not sure they had them as the top seed in the West. In most years, Chet Holmgren would likely be the rookie of the year in any other season, but Victor Wembanyama was so incredible he ran away with the award. Holmgren only averaged 7.9 rebounds per game this year, but he's had 9+ in each game against the Pelicans. The Thunder have a great defense to where they will make them miss, and Holmgren can grab some boards.
