NBA Playoffs Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks: Thursday (4/25)

It was a perfect day yesterday so let's run it back. As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is by staying on top of the news. The second best way is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so make sure you're getting the best value. What a time to be alive. Let's get into it and find some winners.

Thursday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Last Time: 3-0 | Season: 131-99

Josh Hart Under 31.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-115 at FanDuel)

In a drama-filled series, it shocks me how high this prop sits. With his increased usage Josh Hart’s scoring has risen to 21 points a game. Still, this line is simply too high. After two of his last games snagging 13 and 15 boards, I get it. And, yes, he has been on a tear but it doesn't make sense for him to continue such elevated play. He's projected for around 25 for the combo prop. Despite the juiced under, this is an easy bet.

Austin Reaves Over 21.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-112 at BetRivers)

For someone due to regress more positively, we have Austin Reaves. He's averaged nearly 16 points a game this season. Despite scoring 13 and nine points in his last pair of games, returning home should help Reaves return to normal form, especially with the Lakers as a small favorite. His minutes are still high and his usage is right in line. I have to imagine he will return to his normal form tonight than how he's played in the series so far. To go with his scoring increase, I expect him to tally near his normal four boards and five assists. It's not a crazy strategy but more so buying the dip on Reeves at these lower set numbers.

Darius Garland Over 14.5 Points (-130 at ESPN Bet)

His scoring number might be a point higher at most books but I prefer the -130 number at 14.5 if you can get that. Considering Darius Garland is projected closer to 18, don't be scared to bet alt props either. This is a true zig while most zag situation. With the total under 200, you'd understand why this total is so low but Orlando's defense hasn't been impossible to convert against. Garland has scored 14 and 15 in the first two games despite playing fewer minutes than his seasonal averages. He's recorded nearly 18 points a game on the season, so I fully expect him to clear 15 tonight against a team whose defensive efficiency ranks fifth in these playoffs, a step back from their seasonal ranking.
