Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

This Season: 57-73 (-19.22 units)

Tobias Harris Over 7.5 Rebounds (+130)

Tobias Harris has pulled down eight or more rebounds in three of the four games in this series. In the only game where he failed to grab at least eight, he grabbed five as the 76ers won 125-114.

Harris only averaged 6.5 rebounds per game this season. However, both the 76ers and the Knicks have scored fewer points than their season average in three of the four games in this series. The lower scoring means more missed shots, which means more rebounding opportunities. While this number means Harris will have to go 1.5 over his season average to hit the over, it’s reasonable considering the team’s shooting percentages and Harris’s minutes. The price of +130 is phenomenal. If Harris had better regular-season numbers and put up these same postseason numbers, it’d be +100, at best.

Cole Anthony Over 0.5 Three-Pointers Made (+105)

In the regular season, Cole Anthony knocked down one three-pointer in all four games against the Cavaliers. Yet, in the postseason, he has struggled to get it going from deep. In Game 1 of the series, he was 0-of-4 from beyond the arc. In Game 3, he was just 1-of-3. In Games 2 and 4, he was 0-of-1.

It’s not that the Cavaliers are great at defending three-pointers, Anthony just hasn’t been good in the postseason. He averaged 11.6 points and 1.1 made three-pointers per game during the regular season. In this series, he’s averaging 4.3 points and 0.3 made three-pointers. Maybe we shouldn’t trust him at all, but to get this line for a price of +105 is too good to pass up considering his history against the Cavaliers.

Myles Turner Over 29.5 Points + Rebounds (-105)

Myles Turner is averaging 24.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in this series. The Bucks look like they will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo again in Game 5, which is great for Turner. Therefore, seeing this combo prop just 0.5 higher than the 29 points Turner has scored in each of his last two games is shocking.

Turner has made 10 field goals in each of his last two games. In Game 4, he was 7-of-9 from deep, his best three-point shooting game of the season. While he’s unlikely to hit that many threes tonight, taking his over at this number is still the right move. He’s pulled down at least seven boards in every game in this series. He had nine in Games 3 and 4. If he rebounds like that tonight, he will hit this over even while scoring less.
