NBA Playoffs Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks: Wednesday (4/24)
Well, we finally made it to the NBA playoffs. We've had a lot of drama already with officiating and some fantastic games. As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is by staying on top of the news. The second best way is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms so make sure you're getting the best value. What a time to be alive. Let's get into it and find some winners.

Wednesdayâs Best NBA Player Prop Bets
Last Time: 1-2 | Season: 128-99
Jaime Jaquez Jr. Under 14.5 Points (-105 at ESPN Bet)
After coming off a 16-point outing on Sunday, it may be tempting to take Jaime Jaquez Jr. over on points here but I'd advise against it. In the regular season, the UCLA product averaged 21 minutes a game against Boston and was limited to just three points a game. Sure, his usage might be a bit different now but if you look at road games as a whole, he still averaged under 12 points a game this season. Considering he's gone under 15 points in 10 of his last 15 games, this is a solid value for taking the under. He's projected around 12.5. If anyone is going to take on an increased role, I expect it to be Tyler Herro. I'm happy to ride the under here.
Isaiah Joe Over 8.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-110 at BetMGM)
Ain't nothing more fun than betting on props like these in the playoffs. Isiah Joe has gone over this combo prop line in 10 of his last 15 games and the BettingPros Prop Betting Cheat Sheet gives it a 73% of covering. That's more than enough for me to tail. In Game 1 the guard tallied 15 minutes. He's averaged over eight points a game all season. Despite his lower scoring in recent play, he had double-digit scoring in five straight games beforehand. This feels like an easy bet based purely on the number of threes Joe is expected to take if he gets in the game. Gotta root for an unexpected over, and this is easily it.
Jayson Tatum Under 40.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-115 at BetMGM)
This isn't the most confident bet I've ever made but I still see it as the right one. I understand he's coming off a triple-double but Jayson Tatum averaged eight boards and five assists this year, so that is not the norm. The Heat owned a top-five defense in the league this season and was one of the slowest-paced teams in the league all year. If Miami hopes to win this game they need to control the pace and depend on their defense. If either of those two happens I can't see enough possessions for Tatum to reach the combo prop here, despite his chance to completely go off. I understand the risk but I'll still gladly take the under.
