NBA Player Prop Bet Picks & Predictions

Let’s look at the top player prop bets for tonight.

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Anthony Davis Over 24.5 Points (-113)

The Los Angeles Lakers won Game 1 against the Memphis Grizzlies. Neither team came away from that game unscathed. Anthony Davis had a stinger and could not move his arm. Ja Morant has a tissue bruise that has made him a game-time decision. Anthony Davis should be able to play tonight; that is what the Lakers need.

Anthony Davis was the most impactful player on the Lakers team last game against the Grizzlies. He had 22 points and 12 rebounds. During the regular season, he averaged 29 points against the Grizzlies. That is four points over the player-point line tonight. Bettors can take advantage of that value tonight.

Jimmy Butler Over 28.5 Points (-108)

Miami beat Milwaukee 130-117 in the first game of this series. Giannis Antetokoumpo getting hurt played a piece in that loss. Depending on the severity of the injury, Antetokounmpo might miss tonight’s game too.

Giannis being questionable to play means other players might have increased player prop value. One of those players is Jimmy Butler. Butler can dominate playoff games, which showed when he scored 35 points last game. The Bucks will be missing one of their best defenders. That means Butler should have plenty of quality looks tonight.

Anthony Edwards Under 23.5 Points (-122)

The Nuggets won the first game of the series 109-80. Denver limited the Timberwolves to 37% shooting from the field. That kind of defense means the Timberwolves will struggle to score throughout this series. Bettors can take advantage of this matchup when betting on player props.

The Denver defense will impact Anthony Edwards more than anyone else. He is the primary focus of the Nugget’s defense. His betting line of 23.5 points is too much for this matchup. Edwards averaged 21.0 points per game during the regular season series against the Nuggets. He only managed to score over 20 points once in four games. That means there is betting value tonight on Edwards.
