Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers
This game is my favorite playoff game to bet on right now. The Celtics and 76ers have plenty of talented players that can score, rebound, and defend. That is the perfect combination for player prop betting. Tonight there are plenty of opportunities for bettors to use to their advantage.
The first opportunity is Jayson Tatum under 3.5 three-pointers. Tatum is one of the highest-volume three-point shooters in the NBA, with an average of 9.27 attempts per game. Typically the opportunity is there for Tatum, but that number sinks to 6.6 against Philadelphia. Tatum averages 2.6 made three-pointers against the 76ers. That means there is betting value on the under tonight.
Another player that I like is Jaylen Brown. Brown does not get the same recognition as fellow teammate Jayson Tatum, but he can score consistently. Brown averages 26.1 points in the playoffs this season. That is after a regular season of scoring 26.6 points per game. Philadelphia will focus on Tatum. That will give Brown additional scoring opportunities tonight.
The third bet that I like tonight is James Harden under 24.5 points. James Harden can score, but he has been transforming into a pass-first point guard this season. That is mainly because this season’s MVP, Joel Embiid, is the first scoring option for the 76ers. Harden averages 22.8 points this postseason and lacks the consistency to give the over-betting value.
