Friday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets
Let's start the weekend right.
Boston Celtics at Philadelphia 76ers
- Jaylen Brown Over 25.5 points (-105, BetMGM)
- Robert Williams Over 7.5 rebounds (+110, BetMGM)
- Marcus Smart Over 4.5 assists (-155, DraftKings)
With this series heading into Philadelphia, Boston is still favored by two points. I see them rocking and rolling again tonight. I bet overs frequently but haven't been all too wrong just yet. Honestly, it's more fun.
Brown has been that dude, scoring 25 points despite playing only 30 minutes last game. At full potential, he has the ability to post 30 points and is projected at 29.8 points tonight.
With Boston's third-ranked defense, I expect them to step up again and limit the 76ers scoring. Williams has snagged seven boards in both games of the series despite limited minutes after averaging 8.2 for the season. He will get there.
With the expected higher scoring for Boston, give me the Smart over assists total with ease. I'll be putting one unit on each bet.
Denver Nuggets at Phoenix Suns
- Aaron Gordon Over 14.5 points (115, FanDuel)
- Jamal Murray Under 34.5 Pts + Ast + Reb
- Kevin Durant Over 34.5 Pts + Ast (-110, BetMGM)
With their backs to the wall down 2-0, Phoenix has to step up, right? While I don't expect Denver to completely fall back, Murray wasn't exactly spectacular in the last game. While he should bounce back, I still see him under the combo prop.
Durant, on the other hand, is capable of anything. I can't bet against him as long as he is on the court, so give me his overs to the max.
With Gordon, I'm simply trusting the numbers. He has a 74-percent chance of hitting this prop per the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet. I am surprised that this number is where it's at, but I love betting the over.
