NBA Playoffs Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Monday (4/22)

As someone who loves to bet Overs in the NBA, I know that the first two days of the NBA playoffs were far from ideal. But now it’s time to adjust after watching all of the Game 1’s.

I’ve added two same-game parlays for tonight with our new tool, the Same Game Parlay Builder. You can find instant insight with recommendations and grades for a particular leg in the parlay!

Orlando Magic vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Jalen Suggs really struggled in Game 1 of the series against the Cavaliers. The Orlando guard shot just 4-for-16 from the field and nailed just 1-for-7 from downtown to finish with 13 points. But I liked his aggressiveness. If he can get to 13 points after only hitting 4-for-16 from the field, I like his chances to get to at least 13 points tonight.

Meanwhile, Donovan Mitchell took 21 shots in Cleveland’s Game 1 victory. He scored 30 points but only added three assists and two rebounds. Mitchell is in there looking to score. He’ll let Garland find the open man.

Lastly, let’s look at Jarrett Allen to earn at least 12 rebounds. In 35 minutes on Saturday, Allen hauled in 18 rebounds and had just one foul in the game. Allen cleaned up the many misses from the Magic. Orlando shot just 32.6% from the field and scored only 83 points. While the Magic will likely shoot better in Game 2, Allen should still be the main guy on the glass when the Magic miss.

Philadelphia 76ers @ New York Knicks

The New York Knicks will take on the Philadelphia 76ers for the second game of their Eastern Conference series. The Knicks escaped with a Game 1 victory, but we learned a lot from that first game. It’ll be a physical matchup between two teams that match up very well against one another.

That said, we’ll start this parlay off with Tyrese Maxey to score at least 26 points. In Game 1, it was all Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. Those two combined for 62 points of the 104 points in Game 1. Nobody else has stepped up other than Kyle Lowry, but I don’t expect that to continue game-to-game. That said, Maxey attempted a team-high 26 shots and played a team-high 44 minutes. He’ll have to have his A-game every game if the Sixers want a chance. The 76ers point guard is questionable tonight due to illness, so monitor his status.

Meanwhile, Joel Embiid added only eight rebounds in Game 1. The Knicks are the best rebounding team in the NBA. Therefore, with Embiid’s injury status and less aggression on the glass, we’ll take him to go Under 10.5 rebounds for the second time.

Finally, O.G. Anunoby has really struggled with rebounds over the last two seasons against the 76ers. In Game 1 of the series, he only added four in 31 minutes. Anunoby is more focused on defending the ball and ultimately allows the other guys to clean up the glass.
