NBA Playoffs Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Sunday (4/16)

The first round of the NBA Playoffs will continue today, with four more first-round matchups getting started.

I’ve got a couple of same-game parlays that I’ll be riding tonight in two of the four games on the NBA slate.

Yesterday’s action had two blowouts and two exciting matchups. What can we expect today?

Sunday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Bucks

  • Leg 1: Bobby Portis Over 10.5 Points (-122)
  • Leg 2: Jrue Holiday Over 17.5 Points (-108)
  • Leg 3: Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 5.5 Assists (-142)

The Milwaukee Bucks won’t blow out the Miami Heat. But they’ll win considerably.

Bobby Portis has earned 11 or more points in eight straight games. He’s also hit 11 or more points in nine of his last ten games and 73% of all games this season. Miami’s one of the best defenses in the NBA, but we’ve got to ride the hot hand with Portis.

Meanwhile, Jrue Holiday averaged 19.3 points per game this season. But he’s sitting at 17.5 with his line. Holiday has reached at least 18 points in three straight games and has hit this line in 60% of games this season. In his last three games, he’s taken an average of 16.3 shots per game.

Finally, Giannis Antetokounmpo should earn some assists tonight. He’s added 5.7 assists per game this season. However, he’s coming off a triple-double performance against Washington on April 4 and hasn’t played since. But that kind of play-style from Giannis should be on full display today.

Parlay Odds: +498

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Phoenix Suns

Let’s start with Kevin Durant. Durant has scored at least 27 points in 60% of games this season. He’s also coming off his final regular season game, scoring 29 points thanks to six made threes. He shot 50% from the floor and earned seven foul shots in a win against the Nuggets on April 6.

Durant has shot at least 50% in six of eight games he’s played for the Suns.

However, don’t rely on his teammate Josh Okogie. He’s added only 3.5 rebounds per game this season, but his line is at 4.5. Okogie has hit five or more rebounds in just four of his last ten games and 25% of his last 20 games.

On the Clippers’ side, I like Eric Gordon to shine. He’s a veteran that won’t have any trouble in the playoffs. Gordon averaged 12.4 points per game this season and would only need 11 tonight. He should get about 20 minutes tonight and will attempt around eight shots per game. Most of those shots will be from downtown.

Three made threes, and a layup is all it’ll take.

Parlay Odds: +460
