Thursday’s Best NBA Playoffs Player Prop Bets

All odds via DraftKings

Parlay One

  • Michael Porter Jr. 3+ three-pointers (-110)
  • Anthony Davis Under 24.5 points (+105)
  • Nikola Jokic Over 10.5 assists (-105)

After an offensive showcase by the Nuggets in game one I am running it back but with a bit of a pivot based on the markets.

Jokic can do anything. Any over you want to bet I fully support after 21 rebounds and 24 points in game one. But the one number where I feel like there is the most value to be had is his assists. At 10.5, he has cleared that in each of his last five playoff games. Not only are the Lakers a worse defensive team but also are a much faster-paced team. The number has simply not adjusted for Jokic’s facilitating.

Porter going over his three-point total is one of the best plays on the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet with a +33 percent bet rating. I am trusting the numbers there, expecting some regression from Davis, and riding Jokic tonight.

Parlay Odds: +575

Parlay Two

  • Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 12+ points (+105)
  • Austin Reaves Over 15.5 points (+105)
  • Over 230.5 (+125)

After scoring 258 points in game one, I still see the numbers lining up for yet another scoring fest tonight. This prop is a bit riskier but also a bit more correlated and honestly will be more fun to root for.

Everyone loves betting the star power in playoffs but Reaves has scored 20-plus points in three of the last four games. Now Denver is a bit better defensively than Golden State, but he still showed his scoring ability in game one.

Caldwell-Pope is another under-the-radar candidate who has scored 20-plus in back-to-back games, and while I don’t expect him to reach that tonight, I very well see him reaching 12.

Those combined with star power, and this game may fly over the 230 number so if you’re feeling a bit riskier I’d go all the way up to 234 for this SGP.

Parlay Odds: +600
