Miami Heat at Boston Celtics

The Celtics will be without Kristaps Porzingis in this one, so look for Al Horford to see an uptick in playing time. In 14 games without him this season, Horford averaged roughly 30 minutes per game. He is over this assist prop in 15 of 19 assists averaging 3.4 assists per game in these contests.

Miami is also playing very short-handed in this one, now adding Jaime Jaquez to the injury report. He, along with Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier, have all been ruled out, which forces Nikola Jovic back into some serious playing time. For whatever reason Jovic only played 16 minutes in the most recent game, but before that had played 26, 25, and 34 minutes in this series. In those contests, he posted PR lines of 16, 20, and 23. In games where Jovic has played 20+ minutes without Butler, he has found 14+ PR in 10/14 averaging 16.7 per game.

Caleb Martin can be pretty streaky, but it’s to not play the over on his points given how shorthanded Miami is on the scoring front. He has found himself on the hardwood for 29, 36, 38, and 37 minutes against Boston and has turned that into four, 21, five, and 18 points. Let’s hope playoff Caleb shows up in this one to make things interesting for Miami.

Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Clippers

Kawhi Leonard’s absence has a massive ripple effect on the entirety of the Clippers team. One particularly notable trend without Kawhi has been Russell Westbrook’s production. Excluding a game he played just nine minutes in, he has gone over this points+rebound prop in 11 of 12 games averaging 20.3 PR per game. He didn’t have his best game in Game 3 without him, finishing with eight PR in total, but he did have 17 in Game 1.

James Harden has also taken a big step up in scoring without Kawhi this series. He put up 28 and 33 points across 39 and 40 minutes in Games 1 and 3. In the other two games with him, Harden has scored 21 and 22 points as well.

This is not a Daniel Gafford series. He has played just 14, nine, 26 and 19 minutes through the first four games and has failed to get over this point prop once. Dallas appears better off rolling with Derek Lively and Maxi Kleber instead as Gafford can’t contend with Zubac’s size. He has scored three, zero, eight, and five points in this series, and there’s no reason to think he’s getting over it now.
