Pistons vs. Warriors
Both of these teams have been playing very well during the preseason. Golden State hosts Detroit on Sunday and will put their 3-0 record on the line. Golden State spent the last two games playing the Sacramento Kings and their depth was on display as they came out victorious in both contests. Guys like Moses Moody, Jonathan Kuminga, Buddy Hield, and De’Anthony Melton have shined. Detroit has a very young and relatively inexperienced team, and they’ve sprinkled in a few key veterans like Tim Hardaway Jr and Tobias Harris. This preseason has been crucial for Cade Cunningham and the rest of the youngsters to learn how to play with these new pieces. So far it’s gone well. In the last contest, Cunningham was an assist away from a triple-double, and many of the starters played 25-30 minutes. I can’t imagine on the road, with just one day of rest, you’ll see many of these guys get more than a quarter’s worth of minutes. I’ll be backing the talented depth of the Warriors as short favorites at home.
