Friday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions

PrizePicks record: 47-37

Jalen Johnson Over 25.5 Points+Rebounds

Despite getting into early foul trouble in his most recent game, Jalen Johnson finished with 28 points and seven rebounds against the Oklahoma City Thunder in a back-and-forth 141-138 Hawks victory on Wednesday. That was the third consecutive game in which Atlanta has paired with a team that also ranks in the top-10 in pace. This Friday they match up with the Pacers who are second in pace. Across those three games, Jalen Johnson has put up 31, 37, and 35 points+rebounds. Without De’Andre Hunter around, he should continue to get plenty of usage for the Hawks.

Jarrett Allen Over 36.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists

I’m going right back to the well on Allen, who takes on the Washington Wizards for a second consecutive game. They continue to be a smash spot for centers, allowing the most points and rebounds per game to the position. Allen has seen his prop line increase more recently due to the vacancies left by both Evan Mobley and Darius Garland and has gone off over his last five games. He’s averaging 21.2 points, 16.4 rebounds, and six assists per game over this small sample, with 43 (vs CHI), 53 (vs DAL), 48 (vs MIL), 31 (vs TOR), and 43 (WAS) points+rebounds+assists across these games.

Paul George Over 31.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists

This play on Paul George simply comes down to usage. When he has played at least 31 minutes this season, he is over this mark in 20 of 26 games, averaging 36.6 PRA per game. With this game against the Pelicans set at a pick ’em, George should definitely see this type of time on the floor. The last time he and the Clippers played New Orleans, George exploded for 34 points, eight rebounds, and two assists.
