NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions: Saturday (12/28)

The NBA slate is loaded today. Let’s add a PrizePicks entry for today’s matchups.

Like every NBA PrizePicks article, we’ll give out four player predictions you can use for a four-leg Power Play entry. A two-leg Power Play entry will give you implied odds of -137 for each prediction. A three-leg Power Play entry will give you implied odds of -141. A four-leg NBA PrizePicks Power Play entry will give you implied odds of -128 for each prediction.

Getting -128 on the same prediction is better than -137 or -141. Here are our top NBA PrizePicks player predictions for tonight’s action.

Remember that a Flex play can still win if one pick misses, but you’d get lower payouts.

Saturday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions

Domantas Sabonis More Than 18.5 Points

Domantas Sabonis has scored at least 19 points in 64% of his games this season. He’s also hit the more than on this number in seven of his last 10 games and in 75% of his previous 20 games.

Additionally, he’s facing a Lakers defense ranked 19th in points allowed to centers. Centers have shot 53.64% from the field against the Lakers and have taken nearly 17 field goal attempts per game against the Lakers.

With the coaching change, veterans like Sabonis must step up and make plays to keep the team even-keeled. I expect Sabonis to score at least 19 points in tonight’s game.

Josh Giddey More Than 10.5 Points

Josh Giddey has totaled at least 11 points in two straight games. He only took four shots against Toronto last time out and still managed to score 11 points. Meanwhile, he recorded at least 10 field goal attempts in the previous three games and will likely return to that volume tonight.

He’ll take on a Bucks defense that has allowed 22.34 points per game to shooting guards this season. That’s still a bottom-10 number in the NBA. Giddey should get enough good looks to get over his points player prediction number.

Jaden Ivey More Than 16.5 Points

Jaden Ivey has scored at least 18 points in three consecutive games. He’s coming off a game against the Kings where he played nearly 33 minutes. Although his usage wasn’t super high, he still attempted 13 shots and made seven of them.

After all, he’s attempted at least 13 field goals in five straight games and has a field goal percentage of at least 50% in three consecutive matchups.

That should continue against the Nuggets, who have allowed the most points to shooting guards per game this season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo More Than 31.5 Points

Giannis Antetokounmpo is coming off a 33-point performance against Cleveland. He’s scored at least 32 points in four of the previous five games and has scored at least 32 points in more than half of his games this season.

What stands out the most is that he’s facing a Bulls defense ranked dead last in points allowed to power forwards this season. Power forwards have added 19.4 field goal attempts per game and are getting to the foul line at a very high rate against the Bulls.

The Bulls have also allowed the most field goals to power forwards per game this season. Take Antetokounmpo to have another massive game for the Bucks tonight.
