Wednesday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions

PrizePicks record: 83-62-1

John Collins More Than 9.5 Rebounds

You best believe I am going right back to this one with Jonh Collins. He finished with 15 boards last game on 25 rebound opportunities without Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler available. Those two, along with Taylor Hendricks, have been ruled out once again. Collins has found double-digit rebounds in 11 of his last 17 games, averaging 10.5 per game over this span.

Tyus Jones Under 12.5 Rebounds+Assists

Simply put, this line is too high for Jones. This guy is averaging just 9.9 rebounds and assists per game this season, so why the inflated line? Well, he has had a big uptick in assist production over his past nine games but is still under this mark in five of those games. This is a brutal matchup for him to get over this mark in this one, though. The Magic are allowing the second-fewest rebounds and fourth-fewest assists per game to opposing point guards. They also play at the fifth-slowest pace and own the fourth-best adjusted net rating.

De’Aaron Fox Over 25.5 Points

Fox is a must-play at this point when he takes on the Lakers. Over his last eight games against them, he has scored 28, 37, 31, 34, 22, 32, 29, and 30 points. He is averaging 26.8 points per game on the season as it is, and this is a pace-up spot. The Lakers are sixth in pace, while Sacramento is 12th, so I’m not entirely sure why we’re getting this number. He is over this mark in 31/46 (67%) of games when he has played at least 31 minutes. With a three-point spread and 239.5 total, I doubt this turns into a blowout, so take the over here.
