Utah Jazz @ New Orleans Pelicans

We kick things off with a team that has strung together a few consecutive wins after months of dealing with injuries. The New Orleans Pelicans face a struggling Jazz team tonight who have lost 10 out of their last 12 games. The Pelicans have won their last two games and have been victorious in three out of their last four contests.
The 9-point spread is extremely scary. This is why we feel the best course of action to take in this contest is to pounce on the half-time/full-time winner, in favor of New Orleans.
Tre Murphy has scored at least 20+ points in the last four games, as well as in 10 of his last 12 contests. The New Orleans shooting guard is averaging 25.3 points over his last 10 games while shooting 44.1% from the field.
Murphy has connected on all 32 attempts from the free-throw line in January. The Pelicans will be playing at home this evening, where the young guard is averaging 20.8 points this season and knocking down 47.2% of his attempts inside the perimeter.
As for outside the perimeter, Murphy has successfully made at least two baskets from deep in all 26 of his games this season. The third-year sharp-shooter is making close to 6% more of his attempts when playing at the Smoothie King Center.

Denver Nuggets @ Miami Heat

Next up is the Denver Nuggets, who despite the possibility of missing Nikola Jokic, are still miles ahead in regards to cohesion compared to their opponents, the Miami Heat. The Jimmy Butler situation has loomed heavily over Miami. Considering he is set to return tonight, it's impossible to decipher what that may entail.
Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon are listed as questionable for this contest. It looks more likely that Jokic will play than Gordon. Make sure to check the BettingPros App for any updates.
Denver has won three of their previous five games, including three straight road wins. As for Miami, they have only picked up three wins in their last eight contests. The Heat will finally be back home after a six-game road trip, where they have not won since January 1st.
These two teams have averaged a combined total of 224.8 points over their last five games while surrendering only 210 points. Miami has only allowed opponents to score 102.8 points in that span, which is second in the NBA. The Heat have covered one spread over 223.5 points in their last four games, while the Nuggets have exceeded this threshold in one of their last three games.
This total has increased an extra 2.5 points from last night, so be mindful of any further fluctuations throughout the day.
The amount of tension between Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat could fill a stadium. There's no telling what to expect from the veteran this evening. However, if recent actions are any indication, we are more likely to get the disgruntled version of Butler compared to the "Playoff Jimmy" version.
Butler has exceeded 23.5 points + rebounds + assists in one of his last five contests. He hasn't been on the court since January 2nd. In the two contests before his absence, the Miami forward averaged just 26 minutes.
Parlay Odds: +448

Memphis Grizzlies @ San Antonio Spurs

We close out the evening in San Antonio, where the Spurs will host the Grizzlies. These two teams last met on Wednesday, with the Grizzlies winning by 14 points. Barring any late injury news, Memphis should once again feast upon the up-and-coming Spurs.
Ja Morant is currently listed as questionable with a foot injury. Morant may sit this contest in preparation for a matchup against the Timberwolves on Saturday. Even without the services of their top-scoring option, the Grizzlies should sneak out a victory on the road.
Victor Wembanyama has successfully knocked down at least two three-pointers in 12 of his last 13 games, including in six games straight. The San Antonio superstar is attempting over eight shots from beyond the arc in January. When these two teams faced off on Wednesday, Wembanyama hoisted up 10 shots from deep, successfully making three attempts.
Jaren Jackson Jr. is having a career year in regards to scoring. The Memphis forward is averaging over 20 points for the second time in over six years in the league. It appears this will be the new standard for him going forward. Jackson has scored 20+ points in six of his last eight contests while shooting just below 50% from the field.
Jackson fell just short of tonight's prop line on Wednesday, finishing with 19 points in 31 minutes on an uncharacteristic 33% shooting performance on 24 attempts. On the season, the Grizzlies forward is averaging 49.3% shooting from the field. The smallest increase in efficiency gets us home, and that's what we are expecting tonight.
Parlay Odds: +136
