NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (2/27)

What a weekend in the NBA.

Damian Lillard added 71 points against the Houston Rockets in a 17-point win for Portland. I guess that extra rest after the All-Star game was needed!

There are only four games on tonight’s NBA slate. But we’ve got some good ones, including the Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks.

I’ve constructed a couple of same-game parlays with those two games in mind.

(Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook)

Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers

Joel Embiid has led the 76ers in points and rebounds. But I’m looking at his assist prop. Embiid has hit at least four assists in his last four games and is taking on a Miami defense that has been average throughout the year. Embiid has seen at least 39 minutes in three of his last four games and will get plenty of opportunities to rack up the assists.

Meanwhile, James Harden leads the 76ers in assists, but I’m looking at his rebounding total. Harden has averaged 6.2 rebounds per game this season and has hit six rebounds in 63% of games. He’s also coming off a six-rebound performance in Philadelphia’s last game against the Celtics.

Meanwhile, Bam Adebayo’s been a solid amount of assists himself recently. Adebayo averages 3.3 assists per game and has hit three or more assists in seven of his last ten games and 64% of the season’s games. Look for him to earn at least three more tonight for the Heat.

Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks

The New York Knicks are starting to make some noise in the East. A home game against the Boston Celtics is important for the Knicks.

Quentin Grimes isn’t a key scorer for the Knicks, but he’s averaged 10 points per game this season. His minutes have decreased slightly, but he still added nine points in 22 minutes after going 3-for-7 from downtown against the Pelicans last time out.

Meanwhile, Julius Randle is averaging 10.6 rebounds per game. With Mitchell Robinson back, Randle’s rebounding numbers might shrink a bit. But he still had seven in 33 minutes against the Pelicans. Randle has hit nine rebounds in 71% of games this season. I’m willing to ride with Randle. Robinson could easily get in foul trouble in the first place.

Finally, I also like Jayson Tatum to earn at least five assists. He’s averaged 4.6 assists per game but has earned at least six assists in his last three games. Even when he added 31 points off 25 shots, he could still earn seven assists.
