NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (12/12)

There are seven games on the NBA slate. But I’ve zeroed in on two games to put together a couple of same-game parlays.

Let’s start the week strong!

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks

  • Leg 1: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 29.5 Points (-111)
  • Leg 2: Luka Doncic Over 31.5 Points (-104)
  • Leg 3: Spencer Dinwiddie Over 4.5 Assists (-128)

The Thunder are getting insane production out of Gilgeous-Alexander. He’s added 30.8 points per game and has scored at least 30 points in 71 percent of games this season.

Gilgeous-Alexander rarely takes threes. He earns his points at the foul line. In December. he’s averaged 13.3 free throws while attempting 13.8 per game. He’s had three games with at least 12 free throws in December and has hit 96.4 percent of them. Look for him to stay aggressive against the Mavericks to keep the Thunder in the game.

Meanwhile, in December, Doncic has earned only 7.2 foul shots per game. Instead, he’s taking a high volume of shots, averaging 22.2 shots per game over the last four. Doncic isn’t even an excellent foul shooter, shooting 63.9% over those last four games. He’s still shooting over ten threes per night in that same time frame while knocking down 4.4 threes and 10.8 twos per game. The Thunder have one of the worst defenses in the league. Doncic’s volume should get him to at least 31 points.

Finally, Dinwiddie has hit five assists or more in 65 percent of games played this season. He’s averaging 5.1 assists per game and just had eight assists in Dallas’ recent matchup against the Bulls. He’s played six games in December and has averaged six assists per game. Add Dinwiddie’s assists to your same-game parlay.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Portland Trail Blazers

  • Leg 1: Rudy Gobert Under 16.5 Points (-122)
  • Leg 2: Jaden McDaniels Under 11.5 Points (-120)
  • Leg 3: Josh Hart Under 1.5 Points (-106)

The Timberwolves did whatever they could to bring Gobert onto their roster. However, he’s the fourth leading scorer on the team, with 14.1 points per game.

Yes, Karl-Anthony Towns is currently out, but his points prop is sitting at 16.5 when he’s averaging 14.1 points per game. Gobert has had two straight games with over 20 points. It’s because he’s been getting to the line at a very high pace over the last two games. Look for Portland to make some adjustments and keep that from happening in their second game against one another.

On the other hand, McDaniels is far from the biggest offensive threat on the Timberwolves. He’s averaged 11.1 points per game but has only taken seven shots in his last two games. He’s gone under 12 points in three of his last four games, and that will likely continue against Portland.

Hart has done a ton of good things for Portland. Scoring isn’t one of them. He’s averaging under 10 points per game and has only scored 11 points or more in 33% of games this season. Even though he plays about 34 minutes per game, he’s only recently attempting under nine shots per game. He nailed all three of his three-pointers in his last game against Minnesota but chances are that won’t happen again.
