NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (12/19)

Utah Jazz vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

  • Leg 1: Donovan Mitchell Over 28.5 Points (-115)
  • Leg 2: Darius Garland Over 7.5 Assists (-122)
  • Leg 3: Lauri Markkanen Over 6.5 Rebounds (-125)

The Jazz will hit the road to take on the Cavaliers. This is the first game of two between the Jazz and Cavaliers, marking Mitchell’s first game against the Jazz in his career.

Mitchell has averaged 29.5 points per game while shooting 50.3 percent from the field. In December, Mitchell earned 32.8 points per game. He’s on a rampage right now and is taking on the former team that didn’t give him a chance to win a title in Utah. Look for Mitchell to have a big game tonight.

The second leading scorer on the Cavaliers is Garland. But he’s also added eight assists per game, with many going to Mitchell. Garland has had two straight games of ten or more assists and earned 7.9 assists in December. Garland has hit eight assists in 60% of the games this year.

Finally, the Jazz are getting plenty of production out of Markkanen. He was dealt to the Jazz in the Mitchell deal. Markkanen has scored 22.3 points per game but has also hauled in 8.3 rebounds per game. He’s only brought down nine rebounds in the last two games but has still reached seven or more rebounds in 66% of games this season. In a defensive battle, look for Markkanen to add some rebounds to his box score.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Houston Rockets

  • Leg 1: Alperen Sengun Over 12.5 Points (-125)
  • Leg 2: Kevin Porter Over 5.5 Rebounds (+114)
  • Leg 3: Jabari Smith Over 1.5 Three-pointers (-230)

A Houston vs. San Antonio basketball game isn’t the most exciting on the NBA slate. But there’s value.

Sengun has averaged 14.2 points per game this season. He’s hit 13 or more points in 62 percent of games this year and is taking on a Spurs defense that has given up the most points in the NBA. Sengun is shooting 53.3 percent from the field, and while he won’t take threes, he’s usually very efficient around the time.

Meanwhile, Porter has added 5.6 rebounds per game this season. However, his rebound total of 5.5 is currently at +114. Porter has earned at least five rebounds in 75 percent of games. What’s one more rebound against a bad Spurs team?

And while Smith probably isn’t going to win the Rookie of the Year, he’s still adding 12 points per game. In December, Smith attempted nearly five threes per game while nailing 1.8 threes per game. He’s only shooting 36.8 percent from deep, but as long as the attempts are there, he’ll be able to drain a couple against a bad Spurs defense.
