NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (10/24)

The NBA has an eight-game slate scheduled for us tonight. So far, there have been a couple of surprises early on. The Utah Jazz is 0-3, and the Lakers are 0-3 to begin the year.

Maybe the Lakers aren’t as surprising. But it proves just how valuable depth is on an NBA team. The Lakers simply don’t have a bench capable of contributing, while the Jazz has another starting lineup coming off the bench of reliable and confident players.

Anyway, let’s get to what’s essential. I’ve got a couple of same-game parlays I’ll fire on tonight.

NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: GAME

Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat

  • Leg 1: Jimmy Butler Over 23.5 Points (-108)
  • Leg 2: Bam Adebayo Over 16.5 Points (-108)
  • Leg 3: OG Anunoby Over 5.5 Rebounds (-122)

The Miami Heat are already coming off a 112-109 win over the Raptors at home on Saturday. Now, these two teams will play another game in Miami.

The Heat won that game 112-109 and are now -3.5 in this game as a result.

Butler scored 24 points on 7-for-16 from the field. He played 35 minutes and knocked down a three-point shot in the win. On the other hand, the Heat will want to get Bam Adebayo more opportunities. He only took six shots in 36 minutes, scoring 10 points in that game.

The Raptors are allowing a 56.7% effective field goal percentage and have also allowed teams to get to the foul line at a high rate. That will help Butler and Adebayo earn more points in this game.

Meanwhile, Toronto has been terrific on the defensive glass. Part of that has been OG Anunoby, who brought down nine rebounds in 38 minutes against the Heat on Saturday. He should be able to earn close to nine rebounds again. With a line sitting at 5.5, I’ll take that for the final leg of the same-game parlay.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Memphis Grizzlies

  • Leg 1: Ja Morant Over 28.5 Points (-125)
  • Leg 2: Ben Simmons Over 7.5 Assists (+114)
  • Leg 3: Kevin Durant Over 2.5 Threes (+120)

On the road, the Brooklyn Nets will be underdogs against the Memphis Grizzlies for tonight’s game.

Ja Morant is already averaging 34.3 points per game on 54.8% from the field. He’ll be taking on a Brooklyn defense that has allowed 120.9 points per 100 possessions over their first two games of the year. Memphis has limited turnovers and should dominate the offensive glass, giving the Grizzlies plenty of opportunity to score.

Let’s rely on their primary scoring option to score the most points on the Grizzlies. That would be Morant.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies have also allowed 118.1 points per 100 possessions on defense. They’ve also struggled defensively. They’ve turned the ball over 13.2% of the time and allowed 33.8% of offensive rebounds.

Durant is coming off a 3-for-6 performance from downtown in their win against the Raptors. At +120, there’s value going up against the Grizzlies tonight. On the other hand, there’s a good chance that the Nets will limit turnovers tonight.

Simmons should have a solid assist-to-turnover ratio and help Durant and other Nets find easy shots against Memphis.

So I’ll take Simmons to get me eight assists and Durant to earn three three-pointers to go along with Ja Morant’s point prop.
