NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Saturday (1/13)

I know many of you will be tuning into the NFL Playoffs. But don’t forget about the NBA slate tonight, either. There’s plenty of value on the board in the NBA, with eight games being played.

Therefore, I’ve added a couple of same-game parlays for a couple of the games. Let’s profit!

Saturday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Houston Rockets vs. Boston Celtics

  • Leg 1: Jabari Smith Jr. Over 13.5 Points (-102)
  • Leg 2: Fred VanVleet Over 3.5 Rebounds (-113)
  • Leg 3: Jrue Holiday Over 1.5 Threes (-150)

The Celtics rank 21st in points per game defensively against power forwards. Meanwhile, Jabari Smith Jr. has earned 13.6 points per game this season and is shooting 47.3% from the field. He’s added at least 14 points in two straight games and has hit this number in four of his last five matchups.

In January, Smith has seen an increase in shot volume. He just played 41 minutes against the Pistons and scored 19 points. In the previous game, he scored 18 after taking nine three-point attempts against the Bulls. I’ll take his Over.

Meanwhile, Fred VanVleet has recorded nearly four rebounds per game. If he gets four tonight, we’ll be in good shape. VanVleet has earned at least four rebounds in 58% of games this season. But he’s also had more success against the Celtics and has hit this line in three straight games. Like Smith, he’s been playing many minutes lately and would need one rebound per 10 minutes on the floor.

Finally, I’m riding with Jrue Holiday to nail two threes. Holiday has hit at least two threes in seven of his last ten games and has prior success against the Rockets from downtown, earning at least two threes in every game against the Rockets, dating back to last year.

Holiday has attempted 5.5 threes per game and has shot just 30.3% from deep in January. But he only played 19 minutes against the Bucks in the last game. Look for Boston to at least regroup and keep this game close. That’ll help Holiday stay on the floor and get those two threes to fall.

Parlay Odds: +472

Washington Wizards vs. Atlanta Hawks

  • Leg 1: Saddiq Bey Over 13.5 Points (-115)
  • Leg 2: Dejounte Murray Over 23.5 Points (-125)
  • Leg 3: Deni Avdija Over 14.5 Points (-106)

We’re rolling with the hot hands in this game.

Saddiq Bey has scored at least 14 points in three straight games. He’s added at least 15 points in those games and has attempted nearly 20 three-pointers combined in those three games. Bey has been getting to the foul line at a higher rate recently and has played at least 30 minutes in every game in January.

On the other hand, Dejounte Murray has exploded in the month. He’s added 26 points per game and has earned at least 24 points in four straight games. Washington ranks 23rd in points against shooting guards. With Murray shooting 54.8% from the field and 52.2% from downtown in January, this is another terrific matchup for him.

Finally, Deni Avdija has scored at least 15 points in three straight games. Avdija won’t have the highest shot volume. But he’s also shooting 52% from the field and has nailed about 43% from deep in the month. You’ll also see Avdija get to the line multiple times. He’s taking on an Atlanta defense that ranks 28th in the NBA in points allowed to small forwards.

Parlay Odds: +513
