NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Saturday (11/5)

The NBA will feature over half of its teams tonight with an eight-game slate on the horizon.

The Milwaukee Bucks are still the only undefeated team in the NBA. They’ve got eight wins and will be looking for another against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight.

There are also some surprising teams playing tonight. The San Antonio Spurs will stay above .500 against the Nuggets, while the Trail Blazers will stay hot against the Suns.

Here are a couple of same-game parlays for tonight’s NBA action.

NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions

Sacramento Kings vs. Orlando Magic

  • Leg 1: Wendell Carter Under 16.5 Points (-125)
  • Leg 2: Franz Wagner Over 3.5 Assists (-130)
  • Leg 3: Franz Wagner Under 1.5 Threes (-164)

The Orlando Magic just defeated the Golden State Warriors 130-129. Orlando is now 2-7 to begin the year. But they’ve got another winnable game on the schedule with a home game against the Sacramento Kings.

However, I’m looking to exploit a couple of mismatches.

Wendell Carter is averaging 15.9 points per game this season. His average is so high because he scored 30 points in one game. In that game, he took his highest shot total and was more efficient than in any other game. He came back to life in 33 minutes against the Warriors with just 14 points. He’s scored 17 or more points in just two games this season. We’ll back his under.

Meanwhile, Franz Wagner has earned 4.1 assists per game this season. Wagner started the season with three or fewer assists in his first two of three games. Since that point, he’s added four games with four assists and has earned four assists in four of his last five games. He’s got a solid matchup against the Kings, who have allowed an average rate of assists this season.

However, Wagner should still go Under 1.5 threes made. He shot under 20% from downtown in October and started November going 2-for-6. Against the Warriors, he only took one shot from downtown. He had been taking over four shots from the three-point line per game. So look for him to stay Under 1.5 threes.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Milwaukee Bucks

  • Leg 1: Lu Dort Under 1.5 Threes (-113)
  • Leg 2: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 27.5 (-125)
  • Leg 3: Lu Dort Over 1.5 Assists (-122)

The Milwaukee Bucks are the best defense in the NBA right now. That’s why they’re 8-0 on the season. The Bucks haven’t been very impressive offensively, but they’ve been good enough, thanks to a defense allowing the lowest points per 100 possessions in the league.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has scored 32.3 points per game. Against the Bucks, his prop for points has dropped to 27.5. He’s hit 27.5 in every game but one this season. And while the Bucks are a tremendous defense, someone on the Thunder will score. That’ll be Gilgeous-Alexander.

Meanwhile, Lu Dort is the second-highest scorer on the Thunder. He’s averaging 14.6 points per game and just 2.1 assists per game.

Dort has been terrible from downtown to begin the year. He’s shooting 20.4% from three with over six attempts per game. Against Denver on Thursday, Dort only hit one three-pointer on six attempts. That’s basically what he’s been averaging. He should stick to distributing the ball, where he’s hit two assists or more in six of eight games. Dort is averaging over 30 minutes a game, which allows him to be on the court long enough to earn a couple of assists.

We’re riding and fading Dort in this same-game parlay!
