NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Saturday (10/22)

The NBA is off and running! It’s been an interesting first few days in the NBA. For example, the Utah Jazz sold their top two players and are now 2-0, including a win against Rudy Gobert and the Timberwolves.

That’s insanity.

Anyway, I’m still waiting for more data and larger sample size.

But at least we have some data points to back my thoughts. Here are a couple of the same-game parlays for today’s NBA slate.

NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions

San Antonio Spurs vs. Philadelphia 76ers

  • Leg 1: Joel Embiid 12+ Rebounds (-120)
  • Leg 2: James Harden 25+ Points (-112)
  • Leg 3: Tyrese Maxey 20+ Points (-108)

The Philadelphia 76ers will be looking for their first win of the season. They’ll take on a San Antonio Spurs team that is projected to be one of the worst teams in the league this season.

Through two games, the Spurs have allowed 124.3 points per 100 possessions and have given up an effective field goal percentage of 56.4%. Both of those numbers are bottom-five numbers through two games. The Spurs have also allowed 35.4% of offensive rebounds on the defensive end.

James Harden is currently averaging 33 points through two games while shooting 57.9% from the field. In this parlay, we’re asking him for just 25.

Joel Embiid has averaged 13.5 rebounds per game but only one offensive rebound. His defensive rebounds will be high against a Spurs team that will brick many shots. But I also like him to earn some offensive rebounds in this game.

Finally, Tyrese Maxey has averaged 18 points per game. However, he’s getting 36 minutes per night and has averaged 14.5 shots per night. He couldn’t make a three in Philadelphia’s last game, but he’ll have plenty of open looks against the Spurs.

Let’s unload on the Sixers in this parlay.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Chicago Bulls

  • Leg 1: Jarrett Allen Double-Double (-111)
  • Leg 2: Donovan Mitchell Over 25.5 Points (-129)
  • Leg 3: Evan Mobley Over 15.5 Points (-111)

The Chicago defense has allowed a 55.6% effective field goal percentage through two games this season. The defense has done well on the offensive glass and continues to earn turnovers.

However, the Cavaliers should still be able to get up good looks while also getting to the foul line.

Donovan Mitchell scored 31 points in his debut for the Cavaliers. He shot 57.1% from the field and 83.3% from the foul line. His volume will be there to score 26 or more points in this game.

Meanwhile, Jarrett Allen is coming off a double-double performance against Toronto, with 13 points and ten rebounds in 34 minutes. As long as he stays out of foul trouble, a double-double is on the cards every night he touches the floor.

Finally, Evan Mobley played a team-high 36 minutes and only took nine shots in the loss. Look for him to be a bit more aggressive in tonight’s game to help him achieve at least 16 points.
