NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (1/25)

    Thursday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets

    Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors

    This game checks all the boxes for an over-heavy SGP. We’ve got a high total (240.5), and tight spread (1.5), between a couple of teams above average in pace. High-scoring affairs have been commonplace between these teams over the past two seasons, and De’Aaron Fox has been a key part of this. He put up 29 and 39 points in respective games against the Warriors this season. When he has played 30+ minutes, Fox has scored 26+ points in 23-of-31 games this year.

    Without Chris Paul around, Stephen Curry has been flourishing in the assist department. In eight games without him this season, he is averaging 7.4 assists per game and has exceeded this number in seven of those contests. Sacramento has allowed the 10th most assists per game to opposing Point Guards this year as well.

    Lastly, let’s get a little contrarian and look to an under in this. It’s not going to feel good, but this is just a massive line for any rebounder. Sabonis is under this line in 28-of-42 games (67%) this year and the Warriors have done a good job preventing bigs from finding many boards. They’ve allowed the eighth fewest rebounds per game to the position. Sabonis had 10 and 11 boards in his last two games against the Dubs.

    Utah Jazz at Washington Wizards

    This is another pace-up spot, with a massive game total of 244.5. Over the last 15 games the Jazz are first in pace, while the Wizards are third over this span. Washington can’t defend anyone either and is 29th in defensive net rating. They have allowed the eighth most points and second most rebounds to opposing Power Forwards on the year, setting up Lauri Markkanen to have a fantastic night.

    Over the past month when he has played at least 28 minutes, Markkanen has been a beast. He has found at least nine rebounds in 13 of 14 games averaging 10.3 RPG. Lauri is also averaging 26.6 points per game over this sample and has found at least 24 points in 10 of his last 14.

    Utah is also one to cede plenty of production to Power Forwards. They have allowed the fifth most points per game to the position, and Kyle Kuzma is typically one to go over this total. He’s averaging 21.8 points per game on the season. As long as they can find a way to keep this one close, Kuzma should be able to find his way over this mark once again.
