NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (12/14)
We nearly found two Same Game Parlay winners yesterday. Somehow, the Tyrese Haliburton 10 assist leg listed at -450 failed to come through, which broke one SGP down. The +345 SGP managed to come through at least. SGPs are pretty simple. Pair together multiple bets to increase your odds. Get all legs correct, and cash out.
Here are two of my favorite SGPs for Thursday, Dec. 13.
Thursdayâs Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Oklahoma City Thunder at Sacramento Kings
- Leg 1: Domantas Sabonis Over 6.5 Assists (-166)
- Leg 2: Domantas Sabonis Over 13.5 Rebounds (-135)
- Leg 3: Keegan Murray Over 2.5 Three Pointers Made (-125)
This is the best game to build an SGP for this Thursday. It has the highest total on the board with 243, and both teams play up-tempo basketball. The Thunder are 4th in pace and with DeâAaron Fox back, the Kings are back to play quick. Over the last 14 games, they are 8th in pace.
Of all the players in the contest, Domantas Sabonis looks like the optimal target. The Thunder are allowing the second-most rebounds per game to centers and the big man always dishes it out at home. Sabonis is averaging 8.3 assists per game at home compared to 5.8 on the road. When these teams matched up back on November 10, he finished with 13 rebounds and 13 assists in the game. That sort of production in those categories has been a regular occurrence for him when he plays OKC. Over his last seven games against them, heâs averaging 10.7 assists and 15.4 rebounds per game. Sabonis has found 13 rebounds in each of those games and seven assists in each as well.
The assist uptick for Sabonis at home comes from shooters like Keegan Murray performing better. Heâs shooting 41% from three at home compared to 21% on the road this year. Murray takes roughly 54% of his shots from beyond the arc and has drained three from deep in six of eight games at home this year. OKC is allowing the third most three-point attempts per game. Murray is well aware of this and when these teams met, he shot 3-0f-10 from three.
Parlay Odds: +340
Cleveland Cavaliers at Boston Celtics
- Leg 1: Jarrett Allen Over 11.5 Points (-125)
- Leg 2: Jayson Tatum 25+ Points (-215)
- Leg 3: Jrue Holiday Under 5.5 Assists (+120)
These teams just met up two days ago, and the Cavs gave Boston a run for their money, but ultimately fell 120-113. Cleveland will once again be without Evan Mobley, which limits the depth of their frontcourt. Jarrett Allen will likely be tasked with heavy minutes in this one similar to the last game when he logged 36 minutes and finished with 14 points. Over the last two seasons when he has played 29 minutes or more, Allen has gone over this mark in 47-of-65 games. That's roughly a 72% hit rate and a clear sign to take the over here.
Without Evan Mobley on the floor, Jayson Tatum should be able to find an easier time scoring, at least in theory. He finished with just 25 points last game, but that came on 7-of-19 shooting. The face of the Celtics is averaging 27.4 points per game this season and has found 25+ points in 14-of-22 games this year.
The Jrue Holiday we were so accustomed to seeing in Milwaukee is no longer there, at least in the assist department. In his first season with Boston, heâs averaging just 4.9 assists per game, a far cry from the 7.4 he averaged last season. Tuesday saw him finish with just two assists against Cleveland, as they are among the best at preventing dishes from happening, and have allowed the third-fewest assists per game to points guards.
Parlay Odds: +320
