We’re onto the semi-finals in the NBA In-Season Tournament! I’d say it has lived up to the hype so far, and the two games tonight should be no different. The Pacers and Bucks go head-to-head first, and the Pelicans and Lakers follow. Let’s find a couple of same-game parlays for each contest. SGPs are pretty simple. Pair together multiple bets to increase your odds. Get all legs correct, and cash out.
Here are two of my favorite SGPs for Thursday, Dec. 7.
Thursday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets

Indiana Pacers vs Milwaukee Bucks
- Leg 1: Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 32.5 Points (-115)
- Leg 2: Bruce Brown Over 2.5 Assists (-145)
- Leg 3: Bennedict Mathurin Over 13.5 Points (-105)
The first game of the evening should be a back-and-forth affair between two of the fastest teams in the league. The Pacers lead the league in pace, while Milwaukee is fifth, hence the incredible 254.5 total for the game. Oh yeah, and neither team is playing good defense. The Bucks are 22nd in defensive net rating, and Indiana is 28th. The last time these teams squared off, Indiana won in a tightly contested 126-124 victory. That game came without Damian Lillard, but Giannis had a near career-high in points and finished with 54 in the contest.
Even with Lillard back, it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see him put up another 50-burger all things considered. The Pacers are allowing the most points in the paint and Giannis is well aware. Over his last five games against them, he has scored 54, 38, 25, 41, and 50 points.
Second on the team in minutes per game is none other than Bruce Brown, averaging roughly 32. In his five tournament games, he is playing closer to 35 minutes and has recorded three or more assists in all but one game. When these teams met in November, he finished with seven assists. He is over this assist mark in 11 of his last 14 games.
Lastly, let’s take a shot on Bennedict Mathurin, who had a season-best 26 points against Milwaukee in their recent matchup. It’s not all that surprising to see him put up that sort of production. The Bucks are allowing the second-most points per game to shooting guards. Mathurin has exceeded this mark in seven of his last 12 games averaging 14.4 per game.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Los Angeles Lakers
- Leg 1: Austin Reaves Over 13.5 Points (-135)
- Leg 2: LeBron James Over 6.5 Assists (-175)
- Leg 3: Trey Murphy III Over 12.5 Points (-120)
Let’s start this SGP off with Austin Reaves, aka Hillbilly Kobe. He has been on the floor when it matters most and hit the three-point dagger to end the game against Phoenix the other night, ultimately finishing with 20 points. Reaves has now eclipsed this number in 13 of his last 18 games, averaging 14.9 points per game. Isolating his tournament games, he’s over this in four of five averaging 15.4 points. The lone miss came with just 18 minutes.
Next up, is the King, LeBron James. He has made it clear that the Lakers are in it to win it and Los Angeles is 5-0 in the tournament, largely in part to his play. Similar to last year’s playoffs, LeBron is looking to dish it out to his teammates frequently, and that was on display against Phoenix on Monday night. He finished with 11 assists but had a potential for 18. Zoning in on his tournament games, LeBron has six, six (23 minutes), nine, nine, and 11 assists in these contests.
Lastly, look to Trey Murphy III to find at least 13 points in this one. He’s finally back and hasn’t missed a beat in his return. He had 16 points in 30 minutes against the Kings in the tournament on Monday and had 18 points in just 22 minutes vs. San Antonio on the 1st of the month. Last season with 28+ minutes played he cleared this prop in 43-of-56 games (77%). He took roughly 62% of his shots from beyond the arc last year, and the Lakers are allowing the second-most three-point attempts per game.
