NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (2/29)

We found a winner in yesterday’s Same-Game Parlay (SGP) article, so it’s only right to find another one in today’s.

Here are two of my favorite SGP options for Thursday, Feb. 29. Best of luck with your wagers for today!

Thursday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets

Atlanta Hawks @ Brooklyn Nets

Without Trae Young in the fold, Dejounte Murray is the primary facilitator of the Hawks’ offense. He was a consistent triple-double threat in his final season with San Antonio, averaging 9.2 assists and 8.3 rebounds per game. He had 16 triple-doubles that season out of 68 games. Murray hasn’t found a triple-double with Atlanta yet, but he comes close whenever Young is out of the picture.

Over the last two seasons with Atlanta, Murray has played in 14 contests without Trae. He is averaging 8.8 assists and 5.8 rebounds across these games. The assists are the more consistent part, though, and he has found at least nine assists in eight of those 14. If you’re feeling a little more risky, a sprinkle on a triple-double at 20/1 looks worthwhile to me.

If Murray is dishing it, someone will have to score, and Bogdan Bogdanovic looks primed to be that player. He has found 17 points in all seven games without Trae Young this season. Plus, the Nets have allowed the eighth-most points per game to opposing shooting guards.

When the shots aren’t falling, look for Nic Claxton to do what he does best and clean up the glass. He’s averaging 9.9 boards per game on the year, while Atlanta has permitted the eighth most to Centers per game on the season. Claxton has found double-digit rebounds in five consecutive games against the Hawks dating back to last season.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Charlotte Hornets

The Bucks are still without Khris Middleton, which has led to an uptick in assists from Damian Lillard. These two teams just met two days back, and he had seven across just 25 minutes without Middleton. Lillard is over this mark in six of his last 10, but a couple of those misses came with their warts, too. He had 14 potential assists against Miami, and only five were converted into assists. “Dame” had five against the Nuggets but only played 23 minutes. The Hornets have allowed the fourth-most assists per game to opposing point guards, and Lillard should be able to go over this mark against them once again.

Lillard should also see plenty of three-point attempts against the Hornets. They are 19th in three-point attempts to opponents and 26th in opponent three-point percentage made. Lillard is attempting 8.5 three-pointers per game and has gone over this in two of three against Charlotte this season.

Without LaMelo Ball in the picture, Tre Mann is the new starting point guard for the Hornets. Since taking this temporary role, Mann is over this mark in five of seven games, averaging 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. Lucky for him, this is a great matchup, as the Bucks are allowing the fourth-most points per game to PGs. Mann had a 16/4/3 line taking on the Bucks just two days back and should be able to replicate that sort of production at home.
