NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (12/29)

Welcome to a six-game NBA slate for which I’ll provide my favorite same-game parlays. It’s been a successful season so far, and I’d love to keep it going. Hopefully, you had winning NBA player prop bets on your Christmas wish list or as an early New Year’s resolution because here I am to fulfill those wishes.

NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (12/29)

Houston Rockets vs. Dallas Mavericks

  • Leg 1: Alperen Sengun UNDER 8.5 rebounds (-110)
  • Leg 2: Luka Doncic UNDER 32.5 points (-105)
  • Leg 3: Christian Wood OVER 9.5 points (+115)

I got to say, it was pretty tough typing in these prop bets for the parlay. I mean, Doncic has to come down to earth at some point, right?

Facing the Rockets is always nice with their 28th-ranked defense and big pace-up spot for Dallas. But based on Luka’s most recent performances, his point total has simply gotten too high.

I am expecting Wood to handle business down low alongside Dwight Powell, so I am playing a minor correlation game in fading Sengun’s rebound total. The number read +700, but man oh man does it feel more like +10000. You have to remember to zig when everyone else is zagging, however, and I still see this as a solid value.

Parlay Odds: +700

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers

  • Leg 1: Jarrett Allen OVER 9.5 rebounds (-125)
  • Leg 2: Evan Mobley OVER 14.5 points (+100)
  • Leg 3: Pacers UNDER 108.5 (+100)

As a bit of a safer option, I’m riding the Cavs to handle business in Indiana tonight. Tyrese Haliburton with the questionable tag is a good start, but I simply trust Cleveland more.

Coming in with the best defense in the league and second-slowest pace, it’s easy to bet the Pacers under. I’m actually surprised it isn’t lower for the odds of a coin flip.

In the last two weeks, Mobley has averaged 12.3 points per game – he’s due to bounce back to his seasonal average, above 14.5. With Indiana offering an aggressive pace-up spot for the Cavs, it’s easy to take their prop overs here.

Parlay Odds: +620

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Toronto Raptors

  • Leg 1: Dillon Brooks OVER 15.5 points (-125)
  • Leg 2: Steven Adams OVER 1.5 assists (-150)
  • Leg 3: Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 13.5 points (-120)

Toronto’s defense may be in the middle of the pack in the NBA, but their O/U total is 19-15 this season. To reach that, I expect a lot of points to come from the slightly favored Grizzlies squad.

Obviously, the first go-to is Ja Morant, but his number is inflated, taking away any value to find. Brooks and Jackson Jr. are next up, and the books seem to agree with their -125 and -120 respective odds.

Despite the -150 tag for Adams’ assist total hitting the over, the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet still sees it as one of the better values on the slate with a 33 percent expected value.

Parlay Odds: +450
