Wednesday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Washington Wizards at Charlotte Hornets

Let’s hope we get a re-run of yesterday’s Pacers and Hawks showdown that finished 157-152 in favor of Indiana. With a 242 total, there’s a decent chance we’ll see fireworks in this one as well, considering both teams are in the bottom three in defensive net rating. Additionally, Washington is second in pace and Charlotte is 10th, so there will be plenty of stat padding to go around.

The scoring all starts with LaMelo Ball for the Hornets, so let’s start there first. He’s averaging 8.3 assists, 14.7 potential dishes per game, and has recorded eight or more dimes in eight of 13 games this season. Somehow in the two games against Washington, he failed to eclipse this mark, despite averaging 22.5 potential assists per game. Positive regression should work in his favor here. The Wizards have allowed the third-most assists per game to opposing point guards.

Leading the way in rebounding for Charlotte is none other than their starting center, Mark Williams. He’s averaging 10 boards and 16.8 rebound chances per game. The last time he faced the Hornets, he had a whopping 24 rebounds and 21 points in 30 minutes of play. The Wizards are allowing the fourth most points and most rebounds per game to Centers.

Guess who has allowed the most points to small forwards? Gordan Hayward is familiar with that himself, after scoring 18 and 27 points against the Wizards earlier this year. He has scored 15 points or more in nine of 13 games this season.

Parlay Odds: +300

Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics

Let’s look to the nationally televised game between the Bucks and Celtics for our second SGP. Jaylen Brown is coming off back-to-back clunkers, setting up a discounted line at 21.5 for his point total in a great matchup. The Bucks have allowed the most points per game to shooting guards this year and Brown has exceeded this line in nine of 14 games. He put up 29 and 30 points against the Bucks last season.

Suddenly, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been dishing it out at an insane rate. Some of that could be down to getting doubled, but whatever the reason, it’s working and he has eight, seven, and nine assists in his last three games. He leads the teams in potential assists with 14.3 per game over this small sample. The Celtics have allowed the sixth most assists to Power Forwards this season.

The final leg isn’t sexy by any means, but one that typically hits. Giannis has long been one of the better rebounders in the game and has averaged 11 or more boards per game over the last five seasons. In games with 29+ minutes this year he has gone over this line in eight of 10 games. Boston is allowing the seventh most rebounds to power forwards this year.

Parlay Odds: +330
