NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (12/6)

The NBA In-Season Tournament takes a break this Wednesday, with the rest of the losers finally getting some love after a couple of days off. That means we’re treated to a big 11-game slate, giving us plenty of options for the Same Game Parlay article. SGPs are pretty simple. Pair together multiple bets to increase your odds. Get all legs correct, and cash out.

Here are two of my favorite SGPs for Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Wednesday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets

    Philadelphia 76ers at Washington Wizards

I love including the Wizards in these SGPs. There, I said it! They play fast (2nd in pace) and don’t play defense (29th in defensive net rating), so it’s hard not to love. This 238.5 total is the 2nd highest on the board today, and a lot of that scoring will come from the reigning MVP, Joel Embiid. The last time these teams met up, he put up a season-high 48 points. The guy is averaging 32 points per game, and there’s no chance Daniel Gafford is going to slow him down. Washington is allowing the second-most points in the paint on the year, and the most points per game to opposing centers.

If Embiid is scoring, someone is going to have to be dishing it out, so look to Tyrese Maxey and his assists. He had 11 assists when they last played Washington, and they are allowing the t-5th most assists per game to points guards.

There’s no one to trust on the Wizards, aside from Kyle Kuzma. He leads the team with 23.6 points per game, and Philly actually presents a decent matchup for the power forward. They are allowing the 10th most points per game to PFs. Kuzma had 28 points against them when they played, and has 20+ points in 15-of-19 games. I’m electing to roll with the lower line, due to concerns about a blowout for Washington.

    Parlay Odds: +310

    Brooklyn Nets at Atlanta Hawks

The highest total on the board takes place in this game and sits at 240.5. Most of that comes from the Hawks’ part, considering they are third in pace with the fifth-worst defensive net rating. Unlike the Sixers game, this one shouldn’t turn into a blowout, at least in theory, with a four-point spread separating the two teams. The last time these teams met, Atlanta won 147-145 in overtime. Let’s hope we see similar fireworks again.

Leading the way in scoring for the Nets that game, and just about every game, was Mikal Bridges. He scored a season-high 45 points in that matchup and is averaging 22.8 points per game. Atlanta has allowed the most points per game to opposing shooting guards.

The Hawks have also allowed the second-most assists to opposing point guards, which sets Spencer Dinwiddie up nicely in this one. He also had a season-high, in assists albeit, finishing with 12 the last time they met. Dinwiddie has seven or more assists in seven of his last nine games, averaging 7.8 per game.

Brooklyn has struggled mightily taking on small forwards, allowing the second-most points per game to the position. De’Andre Hunter saw first-hand when they played a couple of weeks ago and put up 25 points. Without Jalen Johnson in the fold, there are more shots available for Hunter, and over the last five games without him, he has averaged 17.2 points per game.

    Parlay Odds: +350
