NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (2/28)

We’re treated to a somewhat limited six-game slate in the NBA this Wednesday, February 28th. That doesn’t slow us down over here at BettingPros however. As always, I’ll have two of my favorite same game parlays here for every Wednesday and Thursday. SGPs are fairly simple. Pair together multiple angles in a game to boost the odds. Get them all right, and you're set for a big cash. Best of luck with your wagers for today!

New Orleans Pelicans at Indiana Pacers

Anytime the Pacers are playing on a Wednesday or Thursday, they are in play for this SGP article from yours truly. It’s hard not to feature their squad in this analysis, considering they are 26th in adjusted defensive rating, and second in pace. All of that sets up for a high-scoring affair, and the 238.5 game total reflects just that.

There is no better way to highlight this team than including Tyrese Haliburton in this SGP. He’s the leading assist man in the NBA this season, averaging 11.6 assists per game. The Pelicans have permitted the third-highest assist percentage to opponents this season, setting Haliburton for another high-dishing type of game in this one.

As for the Pelicans, it appears likely that CJ McCollum will miss this game after sitting out the previous two contests due to injury. Assuming he is not fit to go in a back-to-back, look for Zion Williamson to find some assists in his stead. He has averaged 5.5 assists per game in 12 games without CJ this season and has found at least five in eight of his last 12.

It’s also not unreasonable to think Zion could get whatever he wants down low in this one. After all, the guy scores a whopping 77% of his points in that region, the best mark in the NBA. Indiana has allowed the most points in the paint this season, so asking for 27 out of him doesn’t feel too out of reach.

Los Angeles Lakers at Los Angeles Clippers

The other nationally televised game on ESPN this hump day takes place in Los Angeles, in a battle of the two L.A. squads. The Clippers will be without Paul George in this one, which should lead to an increased usage of Kawhi Leonard. He already sees the ball plenty, but without PG3, he has found 20, 31, 30, and 27 points this season. The Lakers aren’t the biggest threat defensively, and Kawhi has found at least 25 points in four of his last five games against them dating back to last season.

Ivica Zubac, the former Laker, should be able to find double-digit boards in this one. The Lakers have allowed the fifth most rebounds per game to opposing Centers this season after all. Zubac actually pulled down 19 boards against them earlier this season, and they’ll need him in there to contend with Anthony Davis. In games with 25+ minutes, he is over this in 17-of-28, averaging 10.6 per game.

Lastly, look to D’Angelo to go over this mark once again. He is over this mark in 17 of his last 20 games, and 11 overall when he has played at least 28 minutes with LeBron and Anthony Davis around. The Clippers haven’t been very good against opposing guards lately either. They have allowed the most points per game to opposing Point Guards over their last 15 games.

Parlay Odds: +390
