NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (12/14)

Detroit Pistons vs. Charlotte Hornets

  • Leg 1: Jaden Ivey Over 14.5 Points (-111)
  • Leg 2: Killian Hayes Under 6.5 Assists (-148)
  • Leg 3: Terry Rozier Over 4.5 Rebounds (+114)

Which team wants the No. 1 spot in the NBA Draft this year? We’ll likely find out tonight, depending on who loses this game.

The Pistons have already stated that Cade Cunningham will miss the rest of the year and have surgery. Therefore, the 7-22 Pistons will rely heavily on Jaden Ivey. Ivey is scoring 15.3 points per game and should start to get more involved in the offense as the Pistons develop him. He’s not shooting well from deep, but the volume will be there.

Meanwhile, Killian Hayes has averaged 5.1 assists per game. But his prop number is sitting at 6.5. Hayes has only hit seven or more assists in 31% of games this season, and with minimal scorers on the Detroit roster, he’s likely not going to get seven assists tonight.

Lastly, the Hornets also have just seven wins on the year. Terry Rozier has led them in most categories. But his rebounds prop stands out, knowing he’s earned nearly five rebounds per game. The number is at +114 despite Rozier hitting five rebounds or more in 63% of games. We just spoke about how Ivey is a poor shooter from the field, but most of the Pistons aren’t too great offensively. Rozier should be able to crash the glass and get us five boards.

Parlay Odds: +594

Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

  • Leg 1: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 29,.5 Points (-113)
  • Leg 2: Tyler Herro Under 5.5 Assists (-136)
  • Leg 3: Kyle Lowry Over 4.5 Rebounds (+100)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been everything for the Thunder this year. He’s averaging 31.2 points per game while shooting 50.6% from the field. That’s partly because he doesn’t take a high rate of threes. But he’s still taking a high volume of shots, coming off a 23-shot performance in his last one. Gilgeous-Alexander has hit 30 or more points in 72% of games this season.

On the other hand, the Heat aren’t getting massive production out of Tyler Herro in the assists column. Herro has added 4.3 assists per game and now has his line set at 5.5. He’s only reached six assists in 30% of games this season and will take on a Thunder defense that is above-average in assists allowed on defense.

Finally, Kyle Lowry isn’t getting enough credit for his rebounding ability. Lowry has added 4.8 rebounds per game, but his line is a 4.5 at +100, despite going up against the worst rebounding team in the NBA. Yes, the Thunder are 30th in rebounds allowed this season. So back Lowry, and let’s win this parlay.

Parlay Odds: +587
