NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wendesday (11/8)

Hey, would you look at that! Both SGP’s from last Thursday cashed. Markelle Fultz didn’t suit up in the Magic and Jazz contest, which shorted the odds to +157, and the +340 in the Sixers and Raptors game got home. Same-game parlays are pretty simple. Wednesday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Washington Wizards vs. Charlotte Hornets

  • Leg 1: Daniel Gafford Over Over 6.5 Rebounds (-170)
  • Leg 2: Jordan Poole Over 25+ Points (+225)
  • Leg 3: P.J. Washington 20+ Points  (+115)

This is the ideal game to craft a SGP for. Neither team plays defense and both play at a blistering fast pace. Washington is first in pace and last in defensive net rating, while Charlotte is fourth in pace with the fourth-worst defensive net rating.

Essentially the only viable Center on the Wizards, Daniel Gafford is bound to go over this mark as long as he doesn’t get into foul trouble. Per-36 minutes he is averaging 10.2 boards per game. In his two games with 28+ minutes, he has found seven and 11 boards. The Hornets are allowing the 5th most rebounds to opposing Centers. At least one big man has recorded seven rebounds against them in every game this season.

Jordan Poole has not gotten off to the hottest start to his Washington career and that’s giving us a discount in this phenomenal matchup. He’s averaging just 18.5 points per game, but some of that can be chalked up to the Wizards being blown out in half of their games. Luckily for Washington, the chance of a blowout should be mitigated by taking on the 2-4 Hornets. In his three games with 28+ minutes, Poole has scored 27, 19, and 23 points. Charlotte is allowing the 6th most points to Shooting Guards per game.

Without their leading scoring Terry Rozier involved, the Hornets will have around 18 shots up for grabs on the team. Rather than going with Lamelo Ball, look to P.J. Washington to pick up the slack for Charlotte. He leads the team in points in the pain and is second on the team with 18.5 points per game. The Wizards have allowed the fourth most points in the paint and sixth most points to Power Forwards to begin the season.

Parlay Odds: +1000

Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers

  • Leg 1: Joel Embiid Over 4.5 Assists (-125)
  • Leg 2: Jrue Holiday Under 6.5 Assists (-185)
  • Leg 3: Tobias Harris Over 13.5 Points (-135)

Everything changes without James Harden in the fold for the 76ers. One facet is Joel Embiid and his assists. Through six games this season he is over this mark in five, averaging 6.2 per game. In 15 games without him last season, JoJo averaged 6.4 APG and eclipsed this mark in 12 of those contests.

Derrick White is slated to rejoin the team today following the birth of his second child. His presence should cut right into Holiday’s assist production. White has been out the last two games, which has attributed to Holiday finding 10 and six assists. In the four games with White, Holiday is under this line in three of four averaging four assists and just six potential assists per game.

Sticking with the same no James Harden theme, Tobias Harris has seen a huge uptick in scoring without the beard. Through six games he is averaging 19.7 points per game and has gone over this mark in each contest. In 20 games without Harden last season, he averaged 18.5 points per game and went over this in 15/20.

Parlay Odds: +350
