NBA Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Tuesday (12/17)
As we close out the NBA Cup, the stage is set for what should be a fantastic matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks, and Oklahoma City Thunder.

Normally, we prefer to offer selections that do not carry such a heavy amount of juice. However, since this is the only game on the slate, we felt it's best to recommend some alternative picks and a few extra options with inflated odds.
To kick this five-leg parlay off, we focus on an alt-play for Isaiah Hartenstein to produce at least 19.5 points + rebounds. The Thunder center has cleared this total in eight out of 10 contests played this season - including in three out of four NBA Cup games. On the two occasions Hartenstein fell below this threshold for points and rebounds he was only on the floor for 22 and 28 minutes.
Milwaukee is ranked 22nd in most rebounds allowed. In their last five games, the Bucks are conceding an average of over 48 points in the paint each contest. Hartenstein is scoring 86.4% of his points inside the painted area and owns a rebound percentage of 18%.
Brooke Lopez is certainly far removed from the player he once was when 20 points and 10 boards were the norm. Having said that, Lopez does not need much to clear this extremely low point total in a game where Milwaukee will need him to have some impact on their offense.
The Milwaukee center has scored at least 5.5 points in two straight games and boasts an average of 10.8 points in six NBA Cup games. Lopez is shooting 52% from the field, with 1.7 three-pointers made on 35% shooting during the 2024 mid-season tournament.
Onto the Giannis Antetokounmpo portion of this parlay, where we have two correlated selections. In six NBA Cup games, Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.4 points and 7.2 assists. Oklahoma City owns the highest defensive rating across the NBA, so it makes sense the Milwaukee Superstar may fall a bit short of normal averages.
Antetokounmpo has exceeded 29.5 points + assists in 10 straight contests - this total was surpassed without the use of assists in nine of those games. While Antetokounmpo can clear this prop line on just points, we feel it's best to play it safe and accompany the total with a few dimes.
If Milwaukee is going to keep this contest close at all their best offensive option is going to have to create open looks for not only himself but for the rest of the team as well. The Thunder are particularly stingy in regards to the opposition recording assists - only allowing 24 in each contest on the season.
Having said that, Antetokounmpo has dished out at least four assists in 13 of his previous 15 games. Throughout the NBA Cup, he has distributed at least four assists or more in all five games played.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have lost one game in the 2024 mid-season tournament and face an undefeated Bucks team for NBA Cup supremacy. This contest should ultimately be decided through defense, so we are siding with the team that ranks above all others in defensive rating - the Thunder.
Oklahoma City severely limits the opposition from scoring, allowing only 103.5 points in each contest. Beyond that, the Thunder create the most turnovers with 19 and give up only 12.6 points off of their own turnovers per game. Oklahoma City is also holding opponents to 42.4% shooting from the field on the season.
This contest has all the making of a must-watch game for not only basketball fans but also those who appreciate all sports. The Thunder are a youth-driven, hungry team, who display a tenacious brand of defense. We will be backing Oklahoma City on the Moneyline to raise the NBA Cup this evening.
