We will be breaking down two contests across the association this evening. Milwaukee will be on the road in Houston for a matchup against the Rockets at 8:00 p.m. (EST). Following that, we head down to Los Angeles, where the Lakers and Mavericks kick off at 10:00 p.m., in a highly anticipated contest. Without any further preamble, let's dive right into our SGP's for these contests.

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Milwaukee Bucks at Houston Rockets
- Leg 1: Rockets Moneyline (-166)
- Leg 2: Houston Rockets Under 114.5 Total Points (-115)
- Leg 3: Amen Thompson Over 13.5 Rebounds + Assists (-135)
The Houston Rockets have all but obliterated preseason expectations and firmly set themselves in position to reach the playoffs for the first time since the 2019-20 campaign. Houston fell short of victory by a landslide in their last game against Utah. We are expecting an entirely different outcome this evening against a tougher Milwaukee team.
February has not been the best month for Houston as a team by any means. Highlighted by two losses to the lowly Brooklyn Nets, and a double-digit loss to the Jazz most recently, the Rockets have incurred seven losing efforts during this month.
This will be the fourth game played in six nights for the Milwaukee Bucks, with wins in all three games prior. The Bucks have traveled from Milwaukee to Washington, then back home to face Miami, and now are back on the road in Houston. This could have an impact tonight against a hounding Rockets defense who are the more rested team, having not played since Saturday.
Milwaukee is 3-8 straight up this season as an underdog on the road. Whereas Houston has won 14 of the 21 contests played after losing the game before. Houston looks to be in a fantastic bounce-back spot here against the Bucks.
While we are in favor of Houston getting the win this evening, the total for team points comes across as a bit high considering recent form. Houston has only scored more than 114 points in three of nine contests played in February. The Rockets are averaging 107.9 points over the last ten games, while Milwaukee is ranked ninth in defensive rating over the last five games, only allowing 110.8 points per game.
Amen Thompson has been absolutely dominating the suggested 13.5 rebounds + assists prop in February. In ten games played, Thompson has recorded at least 14 rebounds + assists in all but three contests while averaging 7.8 boards and 6.9 assists. When the Houston forward faced the Bucks earlier in the season, he recorded nine rebounds and two assists in just 29 minutes on the court. Thompson is averaging 38.1 minutes played this month.

Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Lakers
- Leg 1: Lakers Moneyline (-325)
- Leg 2: Lakers Over 119.5 Total Team Points (-118)
- Leg 3: LeBron James Over 7.5 Assists (-135)
If only AD were able to suit up for this contest, there's no doubt we would be in for a playoff-type battle between these two teams. Despite being severely undermanned, the Mavericks have won three of their last four games played. Personnel is clearly the focus point, yet the Lakers seem even more enticing tonight when you consider the Mavericks have only one road win in their last five attempts.
The Lakers are 8-2 in their last ten games (Hornets and Jazz) and have won five of the last six games played at home. Los Angeles currently sits fourth in the Western Conference, and appear to be serious contenders heading into the playoffs.
There's nothing statistical to back up the fact the Lakers may want to go into this contest with a little more fire than usual. However, given what's been said about their newest acquisition by the front office in Dallas following the trade, Los Angeles will likely want to get this win for Luka Doncic.
The Lakers have scored at least 120 points in seven of their last 10 games, and are averaging 120.9 over that span. Los Angeles has only fallen short of 120 points in one win out of eight in the last 10 games. The Lakers have also been extremely efficient in the last 10 games, shooting 50% from the field as a team.
We close out this parlay with an assist prop that appears to be slightly lower than expected given the particular contest. LeBron James is averaging 8.8 assists on the season and has recorded at least eight assists in the previous 18-of-22 games. The Lakers forward is averaging the fourth-most assists in the league, and finished with eight assists when these teams faced off last on January 7.

Enjoy the games tonight, and good luck with your parlays!
